well i live in Milpitas, CA and going for BB and hopefully they will have a good amount of Wii's i also am waiting on Pirate =P
but Target and Walmart are the next closest stores, TRU is to far but they are selling their Wii's for like 279.99.... im not sure if it includes any extras but ill stick with 249 =)

My Best Buy had Wii's in today.

My friend just called me, and he told me that his sister went to Best Buy this afternoon at around 2 p.m., and she was able to pick up a Wii on the shelf for her friend....And that friend isn't me

they should have wiis on sunday at BB ONLY if its going to be on the ad this sunday, cause they have to hold some for the ads

i finally talked to my friend who works there, and he had no idea they were supposed to get any at all. he was told that they wouldnt get any til mid january, but he was going to call and find out for sure what the deal was. he said they tend to get random drop shipments, and that if they would get any, it would be a suprise to him. FYI, i'm near Toledo, OH

One of my local Best Buys and my local EB Games got them and sold out this morning.

well we'll just have to wait for the sunday ad to see if they are running the wii and if they will be passing out tickets. but we should know thursday cause pirrate and he said as soon as he looks at the ad he'll lets us know.

This is insanity. All these sporatic shipments, and in my area I haven't heard of a single one. It's just my luck

I am going all out tomorrow for a few hours in search of a wii. I am basicaly going to follow a UPS trucks!!!!

i have no clue what to do, im hoping for some type of confirmation that bestbuy will have them on december 31.

I know that I have been in line for a Wii three seperate occasions (everytime being between 1 to 10 people away from getting one) and all three times have been on Sundays. Folks, I'm thinking that your best bet on Best Buy is to camp out on Saturday. I know that the Best Buy near me has gotten in a shipment (or has been selling Wiis) every Sunday since its release (which was also on a Sunday). That is my advice and what I am planning on doing, anyway. . . I also asked my friend (who got his Wii at Best Buy about two weeks ago) about this weekend and he said that the store (here at least) gets shipments every Tuesday and/or Thursday, so my guess is that they hold them until Sunday. . . bastards. . .

I'm not sure. . . I have to work Saturday night until like midnight, so I'll probably jet home, prepare for the weather and get ta'standing. . . in the cold. . . where it will be miserable. . .

. . . but worth it!! But it'll probably depend on when I get off at work and what kind of mood I'm in Saturday night. My friend said that if I get there by 5am on Sunday, I should still get one. . . so we'll see. . .

i started waiting at Target near me two sundays ago for the ad at 3:30, and i STILL didnt get one, so you may want to think about going earlier than 5. i plan on camping at midnight or earlier if i hear for sure they're gonna be there on friday or sunday.

how can we ever hear for sure that they'll be at bestbuy or target on friday or saturday?
