It really is sad the you feel you can't trust anything the store tells you. I just called two best buys and they said they didn't get their shipment in. But I have absolutely no trust in what they said. I'm feeling like there should be a class action suit for false communication on product. Why shouldn't they be accountable for their spoken words not just their advertising.

Alert: your Target may have Wiis right now!!! According to [Wii] Seeker, a lot of Targets have been getting random Wii shipments! Be sure to call Target continuously to see if they have any! Good luck to all!

Ok Well heres my story of a wii search. I recived enough in gift cards to best buy which really sucked cause now only one store was my hope. I had been reading wiiloaded for a few days now and saw about best buy in canada holding wiis till friday. I was hoping for the same thing stateside. But for some reason I couldn't sleep this morning woke up and drove to best buy (about 35mins away). They weren't open yet so I hit up target just to check out the wii gear. Zelda TP on sale for 40 bucks thouth about getting it but didn't. Listened to some music in my car and about 9 saw a ton of people in the best buy parking lot sitting in there cars. So it was an hour till they were to open cold as hell. I grabed a bottle of water went up to the door and sat down. People kept coming up to the door and I said they would open at 10 and they walked away back to their warm little cars. People started lining up behind me many older folks asking what are we doing. The guy right behine me was getting a laptop and said what is a Wii? The doors finally opened I dashed off to the wii rack a guy was standing there asked me what I needed. I painly asked if they had any wiis today and he said nope sorry man. I sighed and looked at the wii games and they had guitar hero 2 set up so I played some of that. Walked around and then saw another best buy employee walk outa the back room. Rembering what I read here about ask everyone I went and asked her if they had any wiis today. She looked at me smiled and said sure follow me. Led me past the pack door where they were unpacking BOXES of wiis I MEAN BOXES atleast 60 Wiis. She grabed one put the little security device on it and said here ya go. I couldn't speak stood there and was finally able to mannage a t-t-t-h-h-ank you!!!! Walked up to the front when I here someone yelling at me. The first guy ran me down because he just saw the wiis in the back but I allready had mine Used all my gift cards then put up 2 bucks of my money. Hide it in my car walked down to target and bought Zelda: TP

Yes, it is imperative that you check your local best buy now as many have sold out!

Seems as though the Friday shipment has come early in most stores, but some are still saying they are unrecieved so don't lose hope. Sorry If I gave a false sense of security till Friday.

If you still need it, the shipment qty. update will be posted shortly.

I don't think my BB got their shipment in yet. I think ill go tomorrow at opening and just sit around until noon.

Is Best Buy still getting them Sunday? Please help me!

It sounds like to me that Best Buy is not holding them til Sunday but sellling them as they arrive. So it is first come first served. no way to know if you are first in line unless you happen to arrive when the shipment does. I know I will check my two stores tonight and if they say no shipment I will be there tomorrow.

It's impossible for a person like me to find a Wii unless somebody else does it for me. I am extremely unlucky in most things I try to participate in.

I know the feeling on the luck part. I'm always 2 or 3 behind the last one on this thing. I keep thinking the ODDS should be improving now that so may have them. Our luck has to be changing.

I cannot foresee anything going well for me or my luck changing. Ever since my 13th birthday everything has gone horribly, horribly wrong.

wahh BestBuy isnt holding them till sunday....

anyone in the dallas, tx area (specifically rockwall) my step-dad just bought 2 at target and there were a few left (3 or 4 I believe) and also went by the gamestop looking for wiimotes. they had no wiimotes but also had a few systems available.

Best Buy Shipment Update!!

First of all it cannot be stressed enough that you should check your Best Buy immediately to see if they have gotten their Friday shipment of Wiis in early.

The Best Buy in Midstate Mall in East Brunswick, NJ, has also recieved its Wii shipment already.

Yes, please nobody take my list as a list of all the Best Buys who have recieved their Wiis already, there are far more. This list was just a checkup on stores of people who asked me to check.

You all are best to assume that your Best Buy has in fact already recieved theirs, and should check persistently until one is in your hands.

Yup, you'll definitely want to check at the BB ASAP. I just got mine at the Valparaiso, IN BB -- they had 2 sitting right next to the check-in/out guy stationed at the front doors. I was just able to point at them & the guy laughed & said that they were for sale, so I picked one up & then got 3 games (one for each kid - Spongebob & Supermonkeyball - & Madden for me).
