o0o if you read Piraat's earlier post they had some earlier today but they sold them....

Good news everybody! Some K-mart stores have started receiving wii shipments (confirmed, HOU5TON bought his wii today at K-Mart)! If you have no luck at other stores, consider trying K-mart.

Hmmm. i just called union city and they said they have not recieved a shipment today, ugh

I've been a lurker but wanted to thank everyone here being so helpful. I finally got a wii today at target they had probably about 10 maybe more, the worker kept coming from the back with boxes of 3. This was a store in san bernardino, ca. The site itrackr.com totally helped me out, was worth the $1.99.

UGH! I just called my local target, they had 10 this morning...all sold out now Sad

I'm so over this.

Do you think a BB that got Wiis in yesterday (Wednesday) would get Wiis in tomorrow and/or Sunday?

I had a couple of Best Buys tell me that they got shipments on Wednesday(one said it was a rumor from a customer). All the Targets seem to have gotten shipments today Sad

I called one and the guy in the electronics section told me they did not get them. I called the same store back and the operator told me that they got a shipment today.

what about toys r us, target or wall mart?
i have no regular acess to a nearby best buy.

So is there suppose to be a shipment for tomorrow morning? I thought the big day was the 29th but the past 3 pages have been talking about stores getting them already. should i wake up to best buy friday mornign?

If I were you, lilhmerkid, I would plan on waking up early. . . but not too early. . . Get to Best Buy and if there are a few people there, then join your brothers and sisters of Wii. If not, expect that the shipment came in today (Thursday). As you can see from mellywii's quote, Piraatbill was wrong about Union City (or they lied to her. . . bastards. . .), so there is the small chance your Best Buy did not sell Wiis today (Thursday).

I only say this because this is what I am doing. . . Grrr!!!! >_<

Today my Circuit City (Dartmouth, Mass.) said they are probaly getting a shipment 2morrow but they are not sure.

I've determined that this thread is useless. I've been checking this constantly and even the "confirmed" shipments fall through. No one knows what's going on, this is all a guessing game.

well the people here are trying to help but the stores arent
so its up to what people know and experiences of actually going out for you
just to check if they have any and if they did, then they luckily got one
and now theyre just saying they got it, maybe they are saying check your local stores
so its not the thread thats useless
maybe you should go out, the stores are probably trying to get rid of campers...
but you never know, everyone here is in different parts of the country
just be glad they are trying to help

I just wanted to say that I am a young mother of 2 boys. My husband and boys are gamers. I found this site just looking around for the WII. If it wasnt for this thread I would not have found one. I myself searched EVERYDAY at TRU,CC,Target,Walmart,GS,Meijer, and even Kmart. I followed this thread evryday or should I say every hour. It took me almost 2 weeks to get mine. I had know clue on how to get one..or even knew it was gonna be this hard. All I can say is don't give up...and don't call the stores because they lie..it happened to me the same store and day I got mine.

I called TRU I think it was, asked the lady if they had any or if she knew when they were coming in and she said if she knew she'd be buying one.

Ok just so I'm not wasting my time, I have 3 "local" Best Buy locations (each one is at least a 45 minute drive).

I can confirm that Target already has them in. Mine got 28 yesterday, and I picked mine up that night. Try to go out of your way to a smaller city, they'll sell slower, but they definitely have them!
