store opens at eight...i plan on being there at 4am....i hope its early enough...

gah, it snowed a crap load again and now the streets are a mess, i dont think ill be going out driving in the morning

we are supposed to get 8 inches tonight....thats not goin to stop me

Anyone here from Houston going to Best Buy or otherwise? Do you think other stores will have the accessories or just Best Buy?

Where is Toy's r Us in all this? lol

Target is supposedly getting 10+ wiis 2morrow!

I don't know how many wiis my target will have. The guy said that they were already in the store but locked in a cage in the back were they keep all the really expensive stuff so he was unable to check.

I'm nervous. My Dad told me a guy at Wal-Mart said they have them in the warehouse on Thursday, so we were just there (midnight) and the guy said they aren't allowed to sell them til NEXT Sunday.

I do have a local Target, but on Friday they said they don't have any and probably won't until Tuesday. I NEED TO KNOW IF THEY WILL BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO BE SCREWED OVER AGAIN. I also hope they didn't pass out vouchers.

I don't want to jinx anything but it's looking good for us. YEAY!  My husband just called from BB and he's in line. He got there a little after 7:30 and is in the low twenties (good thing I nagged him to head out and get there before 8! ).  The woman that I talked to on Friday said they were going to have 51, so I think we MIGHT JUST get one. I'm assuming that BB will have the same one per customer policy as everyone else, right?

We're going to trade off waiting, since it's FRIGID out there. Right now it's a wind chill of 8.

I don't want to jinx anything, but if we get one, you guys are TOTALLY the reason. THANKS!

I GOT ONE!!! I was 2nd in line at target. They had 84 of them!!! Ok time for bed I finaly got my little brother a wii! Thanks to everyone for the help!

I'm at bb in union city, ca right now and there are three people here. I'm still in my car bc its a little cold outside! I really expected more people

In regards to the Target situation. Not all Targets had them apparently. I waited outside the Target by my house and they didn't have any when we got inside. They said they didn't know anything about a launch.

There were soo many people outside too. Kinda sucks.

From the massive numbers everyone is saying, I think they days of Wii shortages are coming to an end.

and my target had 27 i was number 7....hoooray....they only had 7 wiimotes so i lucked out there too....thanks everyone

guess BB is the best bet, cuz the Targets around my area (east of Los Angeles) barely had any...3 confirmed locations of only ONE Wii...I was just trying to get another one for my gf's bro. Oh wells... good luck to those still searching & congrats to those that snagged one today.

hope some people got some, I drove by Best Buy on my way to Target this morning and the there was about 40 people lined up outside. Fortunately Target had remotes so I finally got my 2nd one

Guys... it happened.  January 21, 2007, I went to Target, I was 30th in line, and they got 24... so I went over to Circuit city, was first in line, and finally got my wii.  Thank you so much everybody, it never would have been possible without all of you.
Note to those still wii-less: Best Buys will supposedly be getting wiis again on Feb 2.

OMFG, WTF MAN. i was ready to go to best buy since 12am, and i was waiting for a friend cause he had work, but he never came on and i decided to get some rest and slept at 1, then i woke up at 8am and i was like eh, and my parents arent awake, so i decide to check up on wii on the comp and everyoen seemed to be havign a good time getting a wii, and then at 9:30 my parents wake up, we eat breakfast and at 10 we head to best buy, and then there were some people there(liek 4...) and i was like, i finally get a wii, but all of a sudden these 2 guys come and are liek are you guys here for the wii? you know people camped out since liek 4am and they gave tickets out at 8am, and 30people are getting the 30 wiis, but they have till 12 to get them... so i was like damnit! and one of the guys said they came at 8:15-ish and was liek 26... and then on the way home my dad was like, see maybe next time youll wake me up at liek 5 so we can go early, and in my head im liek wtf, you guys would get mad if i woke u up that early, and then he kept repeating what they said(which really annoyed me because i think i heard them loud and clear the first time) and then when i get home, my mom was like none? maybe next week right? im like(in my head) wtf... (talkign to her) i dont know when they will come in, its always random and no one knows yet... well i head to the comp to check here and my dad was like next time plan it out... (then in my head) wtf i planned it out, its your fault(planned to go like 12-1am to camp with friend, but frend never showed... so decided to wake up early or they would wake me up or whatever. BUT my parents were awake at 7am and my mom said she was thinking about waking me up but she didnt know if she should... im like WTF you know i want a wii and you decide, eh i wont wake him up, we'll just go at store opening.. or i thot it was 10, but it was 11am, but then she was like you could have came into the room... back to the might get mad thing...) so my plans are always ruined next time ill tell them every single detail... i thot my friend was 100% goign with me but he had work and his mom got mad at him... so that plan was scraped and sicne my dad doesnt want me by myself out there its not going to happen by myself, congrats to the people who got them... just really annoyed right now a wii-bit mad... but whatever if i dont get one next week i might not get one at all and just go shoehead or something x)
