Got my Wii this morning at one of the Best Buys in San Francisco! They had exactly 51 Wiis, just as PiraatBill said. And they also had 24 Wiimotes, which I was fortunate enough to get one. I was 30th in line (arrived at 7:30am), but a friend of mine was 18th so he grabbed one for me.

Thanks to all who have posted such useful information in this thread (especially PiraatBill)! Now it's time to setup my Wii and get my much-needed Zelda fix.

Congrats to those who finally got theirs.

I coincidentally had to go in BB this morning. (I already have a Wii), and looked around. It was around 12 PM, they had no Wiis anywhere, but they had 2 60 GB PS3s, and when I asked the guy there, he said they got 6 in last monday, and sold 4 the whole week. He said they're getting more in. My gamestop has like 12 in, so the wii is apparently selling better, as it's still no where to be found.

Let's not forget how easy it is to get even a 20g PS3 online.

After many attempts, I finally got my Wii. My friend and I were 20 and 21 in line at Target (got there at 6:30 am). They got 117 in. Time to Wii!!!

omg, i told my mom next time illg ive you my plans and she was like youd otn ahve plans, im like yeah i did, go with friend to camp out, and she was like well dont count on others, and i was liek wtf, you dont want me camping by myself... sheesh they got to blame it on me and they could have done something too (wake me up early when they woke up)

I FINALLY GOT THE WII!!!!!!!!!! PARENTS WENT TO TARGET AT 7 BUT THERE WERE TOO MANY PPL IN LINE SO WE WENT TO BEST BUY AND WAS LIKE THE 15th PERSON IN LINE.... WAITED FOR 4 HRS OUTSIDE AND FINALLY GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I camped out at target since midnight and around 630 a manager comes out and tells me that they cancelled their shipment. I flipped him off and then went to another target that had only 1. Thank god I was number 1!!

Can someone tell me why the hell Target Galleria didn't get a damn one when they were supposed to? And if they didn't get it in when will they?

I got my Wii at Best Buy. I got to my store one hour before opening. I was number 11 of 24. Played Wii sports and Zelda for 9 hours and then shut it down, my elbow started to hurt. Awesome.

If you don't like camping out check out http://wiitracker.com/ from bensbargains.net. Lately Walmart.com has had them available a few times a day. Walmart.com only sells the expensive bundles at the moment, but there were 6 games that I wanted so I bought the bundle. Unfortunately shipping takes a while, but that means no waiting outside in the cold in upstate NY.

Thanks to all the insiders and reporters for the heads-up. I finally was able to aquire a Wii. All your help was greatly appreciated.

Ah finally got one...I go to circuit city yesterday at 530 in the morn and there was no one there. but by the time the handed out vouchers there were about 30 people waiting in line for 13 wiis. Thanks to everyone who has posted reliable information on here.

We DID end up getting ours. YEAY  My husband camped out at Best Buy for an hour when someone said Target had a bunch with no line.  So he stayed put while I ran over and got one! YEAY  After swinging by CC at opening to snag an extra wiimote/nunchuck set, we were set.

Unfortunately, I headed to church and he stayed home to take a shower and ended up messing up our TV trying to hook the thing up!  We spent the rest of the day buying a new TV (and then a new TV stand because the new TV didn't fit in our old one! DOH!).  Yesterday was a very expensive day for us. *sigh*  

BUT WE HAVE OUR WII! THANKS AGAIN to all of the tipsters here!!

wow, i cant belive how unlucky i am, i went an hour before store open and i didnt get a wii, and my mom is blaming me i dont have enough passion to get one, but i do, im willing to camp and go early, its their passion for helping, i woke up at 8 and they were awake at 7 and she decided not to wake me up, and they dont want me camping by myself, im so frustrated and pissed.... i wonder if some people are still going to stay like a little while until stock is steady, but i dont know if you guys will... i think ima give up on wii...
