Best Buy Shipment Update!! IMPORTANT CHANGE IN SHIP DATE!!!
I was incorrect (so much for credibility, but I caught myself so meh) when I said that they would be having Wiis on the 2nd, because in fact Best Buys will be recieving their next shipment THURSDAY, JANUARY 25TH(2 days from now!).
I can still check your store quantity if you PM me soon, but there is a chance that they will be recieving them as soon as tonight, and possibly tomorrow. I have heard nothing about a hold for the ad yet, so assume that they will be sold on the fly (as some stores did on the last sell instead of holding, yaaargh!). However, this shipment will be much smaller than the last one, with most stores recieving 5-25ish Wiis, so be ready to pounce. Luck may be on your sides however, as it seems few people should know of this.
As for when to get there, I cannot be too sure as deliveries can be made

I have seen on amazon.com that walmart has listed wii in their ad and will be selling them 1/28, not sure whether its midnight or 8 am. But its a 5 min store so theres another opportunity
i just called my local bestbuy and the guy said that my bestbuy has 9 wiis on the way but he is not sure when they will get them, but soon... so ill call them like everyday at 10am and when they do have it, i asked my dad if he can go if they do have it, sicne i will be at school, and he said sure, hopefully i'll finally get one this week >> i also wanna call every hour, but i think thats too much xD, but does anyoen know when their shipments come in...
the thing about walmart gettin them sun. is right, but they said they dont know when they r gunna put em out....i think im gunna go at like10 on sat.;
Never they release on saturday, Its usually they hold off until sundays.
yeah... but i meant 10 at night.. they said they put them on the shelves at 12 in the morning on sun.

Tomorrow im going to circuit city around...8:30am..any other places you think stores are gonna have it??? I dont have school from now until next thursday..So im gonna use this opportunity to snag a wii while most ppl are in school.

O i feel so bad for u guys. You guys still don't have a wii. I got mine December 1st. If any of you want to stop waiting around and being frustrated and just wannna buy a wii from me then shoot me an e-mail at sbhuiyan@mac.com I am selling my wii. Best offer gets it. It's in great condition. I just don't have the time to play it anymore with college/classes and girls.
As this thread led me to a Wii, I set up an account to say thanks and to also mention something odd I encountered. I called a local Best Buy and found out they had a small supply (6) Wii's, and I went in and picked one up.
At Best Buy where I located the Wii (Framingham, MA), they didn't have any of the Wii's on display nor was there any indication of their existence. Half the salesmen didn't even seem to know they were there - one said 'No' and another said 'Yes'. When one saw me checking out with a Wii he said "We have Wii's" and went running back to buy one for himself...
FYI - and thanks again. When I left at about 5 pm yesterday they still had 5 left.

Just a reminder, Best Buys are scheduled to have their Wiis in today, with a good chance they got em in yesterday. Pestering should be in full force if you are at all adamant about recieving one. Remember, you are expecting small shipments, and when you ask if they are getting any in, ask if they already got some in recently(past day or so) and sold out. Sometimes that is the case when they say they aren't getting any more.
I'll update around 2-3PM with the quantities for individual stores if it still helps at all.
Also I'm curious, so post success/failure stories here.
As for my source, all I can say is that they are 100% accurate in providing expected delivery dates and quantities, and it has been consistent so far that all stores(in USA) have the same delivery dates, so if some are getting, I assume all are getting. The only inaccuracy that may exist would be in that assumption.

I checked in a site, some targets got today and are selling them 1 or 2 Hours from now . So call your near by target.
