Even though their current Wii return policy doesn't state it, I think it's bull that BB doesn't hold one from the next shipment for people who got a faulty unit. You shoulda sent it back to the big N for free repair.

holy crap chelsea person, i had the exact same problem and i returned mine on friday too! if you get any info, could you let me know too? I had to wait til final week last week to get mine at 11:30 on friday

Yea i told him to just send it in to nintendo, but he was really hoping that BB would hold one for him like you suggested... i think they should too but they said they are not allowed to put "hot items" on hold at all. sucks cuz he was really excited to have finally gotten one. oh well. hopefully we'llhave some luck in the upcoming weeks.

GRRR eb games got some today, but when I went they were already sold out... well I didnt go but i called and they were gone

Those sites really work, I found a Wii today from Target with the help of those two. The thing with Target is don't ask the operator if they are in stock ask for the electronics dep and tell them you have a question about a camera or something. Then when you get the electronics dep you as them if they have Wii's

One other note, one of the Targets I called said they are holding them for next weeks ad.

omg ya that's exactly where i got it from too. And my friend's sister has been the one tracking down all the best buys in the area for me and her friends, and she said all the people she told to get one from the TO bestbuy have had to return them too. Must have been a faulty shipment.

I sat there arguing with the guy saying "Hey, I know it's a hot item and I'll gladly come out the day you get new ones. It's not like you won't have sold it that same day. The people who have bought one should have the right to get another one. I'm sure everyone who returns them would gladly come in immediately if you guys would just promise to hold one for us."

He was like "uhhhhh, that actually makes a lot of sense, but my manager said absolutely no. I'd talk to him but he's really stubborn about wiis."

He felt rlly bad for me because he went through hell to get his wii and we both happened to be on the same part in zelda. Hoping small talk would make him help me out....nope

yea it sucks they really should have exceptions to their policy. can i ask what was wrong with yours? did it just freeze in the middle of a game or something?

well, mine did not like it when i wanted to do multiple things in one sitting on my wii.

So whenever i'd open like the weather and the close it to do something else, it would always freeze when i clicked on something else and I had to take out the power cord cuz none of the power or reset buttons worked. So i was able to play games and such as long as it was the first thing i clicked, but I knew that I should return it before the 30days was up since i didnt buy the 3year thing

ya, all the targets in a 20mile radius from me get them sunday... (well i actually think they have em now but they're holding them til sunday)

Received my Wii from Target.
But, here's a little bit of a warning: security guards have to come out to stores, hang out tickets, and many of them don't arrive early so don't plan on being handed out a ticket abruptly 30-60 minutes before opening.

i was on ebgames.com and saw that you could preorder wii bundles and it said they will ship on 2/28/07.... so maybe the stores will be getting some in too but i dont know

the people that work at my local eb games are jerks... I called twice in 1 week seeing if they had some, because the first time i called they said they are getting some in a few days, so i call a few days later and he was like "weren't you the one who called a couple days ago" and i was like yeah... do you have any wiis in stock? and he said no sorry and just hung up (you need to hear the tone of his voice)... nice customer service

they only like harrdcore ps3 gamers i guess

Aw, sorry to hear about that man. EB is totally random, but as for the credit you have for EB, I think you'll be able to use it at Gamestop, since the stores are related. It's worth a try.

Ok look don't ever buy any new consoles from EB Games they are the same way over here and when i looked for mine i called atleast 12 EB Game stores and 2 stores were nice others werent. I suggest you call ToysRUs they get more Wii's in and great customer service. They told me when to come in and what to do and how many they were getting at specific dates. So yeah if you have a ToysRUs near you then you should try them !
