Thanks so much for your target store shipment info. You said shipments in at 10 am and on the shelves by noon and YOU WERE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. I got to my local target in Winston Salem NC about 10 minutes after 12 and they had six. 3 were being purchased as I got there + the one I bought and they had 2 left behind the glass. You're the reason threads like this work. I was just lurking to get info. So I specifically signed up to this thread to thank you. Good Job.
I just spoke with my Mom in TN and the manager at her Walmart confirmed that they are holding thier Wii's for release on Dec 3rd to coincide with their newspaper ad.
Also the numbers on the wiiseekere site are different from what was posted last weekend. They just updated the counts for the walmarts in my area..
The Targets in my area have not gotten any
I live in Glendale, AZ and I sold my gamecube to my local Game Crazy to get a wii. I did preorder luckily so i have it reserved for the second shipment. I have all my money in store credit there so I cant go to a walmart or anything. Does anyone know when my local Game Crazy might get there second shipment in?

ok, so I made the rounds this morning, walmart, target, gs - no wii's... so when I read here about the targets getting some in the afternoon, I called a few in my area... Shelby Township said they did not get a shipment today... Sterling Heights stated they did not receive a shipment today... Chesterfield Township stated they did receive some earlier, but they sold them all...
So, I am trying to figure out if the stores that did not have them today, might have them out first thing tomorrow morning... i guess i will drag myself out at 7:45 am yet again... (only to met with extreme disappointment, i am sure)
I heard that from now on stores will get shipments of Wii's on Sundays. I'm not sure if its true are not though.

This does confirm one thing, however. TARGETS ARE NOW RECIEVING THEIR SECOND SHIPMENT! Check tomorrow morning/afternoon at your local Targets as I will mine. Good luck to all!
Yeah, its looking as if the Wii well is going to be a little dry untill the weekend hits then the race will begin again
I just got off with a eally helpful Walmart employee, He did confirm the number of Wii's in inventory but said they cannot sell them until Dec 6th! They had to take the pricing out of the computer. he said the reason was because Nintendo send them a flyer and that the stores are not to sell until the 6th. Apparently they are doing a big release.......
None of my target stores got any this afternoon either. I guess I'll be waiting for the doors to open in the morning and calling in the afternoon. Looks like some of you lucky stiffs hit the motherload!
The last guy i talked to at Target said they didnt have any right now but they did expect a 2nd shipment really soon he said it could be anyday with any of their shipments but he said they were expecting a pretty good size shipment so Target tomorrow might be a winner, in some areas.
Target told me they didn't get any shipments today and my friends mother called her from target around 4:30pm and said they have some. I rushed there and ran through the store and when I got there they had 3 left. Don't trust what the stores tell you on the phone because I called them on the way there and they told me they are sold out. When I got there they had three left. All this happened today.
That pisses me off....
That they just assume they don't have any and say their usual answer when there are some right in the store
This is very interesting. I guess Target is varying from store to store, as mine is running an ad this Sunday, and will not have any until then. Great news for all of you who did get one tonight. I'm going to check my Target tomorrow probably. (I checked at 1:00 PM today, and none), and now is probably too late. I believe that an update to the original post stating target all this week is in order.
Wal-mart also looks as if it's going to be scattered across the next week. I guess I should call mine, but no one in my area ever gives out info, no matter how much I demand. Newspaper ads are usually big here, so I'm praying that I can get one sunday.

Made a round of all the nearby Targets during lunch (Phoenix AZ). Was told by all that they're expecting them any day.
Two said they're getting PS3's by surprise, but no Wii.
There are 2 Targets on my way home... I'll swing by later today.

Has anyone heard anything around Chicago? That's where I live, and I've been calling everyone. No one has any, no one knows when they will get more. Toys R Us said that they got 6 in yesterday but that was it. Anyone around Chicago hear aanything? I'm jealous of all you guys with your stores in stock..... this sucks. Nintendo lied to us. How many times did Reggie say "I guarantee 1 mil at launch"
Come on... just be honest with us.. It makes me sick that I want a Wii and can't get one.. and theres 100 on ebay from lucky greedy people.. I get it. People will pay a premium so why not make money?
Just makes me mad. If nintendo had delivered what they promised those greedy people would have no need to get easy cash on ebay.
Anyone have info (or guesses)on Circuit City availability? I have a fat gift card I would like to use there. It's hard to pay cash at another store instead of using it.
I just joined and figured I would share what I know in my area(SoCal). I did some Christmas shopping today, and stopped by the local Toys R Us. While they didn't have any in stock, the employee said they expect to have some this Sunday.
When I got home I saw the post about some Targets getting some shipments in, so right away I called; but they said they haven't received any new shipments yet. I figure if some Targets have received some, and others haven't yet, it must be because of longer shipping travel times; and the rest of the Targets should get their shipments within the week.
As far as Circuit City is concerned i dont think theres been much info leaked out from them a guy i talked to at CC said they didnt expect any untill January but i find that a little hard to believe but its worth checking in the mornings when they open
i have 3 things
1. I called my local targe, rochester MN, and they said the sold out 2 hours ago....i had been down there for 3 hours....missed it buy 1 phone call
2.I have a plan that will only work saturday and not eny day else(i have school and my mom mak me go to curch on sundays) so can you let me now if there will be a shipment one saturday
3.This third one is just becase it makes me mad...enyways, i call my local eb and i asked the dude if they had a wii expecting the same old same old....After a second of puase he says yes....i freak and get all exited and say thanks and hang up...i get down there with my mom and it turns out the guy was joking.....i almost socked him in the face....and for that reson of running all the way across town i didn't get to gcall my target....so ya
