Hello, it's been a while, but I've returned.
I was at Gamestop yesterday, getting Super Paper Mario, Sonic the HedgeHog (X360) and Crackdown (X360), and I overheard they guy tell another guy who asked about Wiis, that they are expecting more this sunday. I've also heard that bestbuy is expecting them this Sunday as well. Seems the demand is tight about the Wiis, as people I know are still having to show up several hours early to get theirs. All the holiday season did was increase demand, after friends and family saw one.
I'm going to update the first page. If there's anything else rumored or confirmed in the upcoming weekend/next week, let me know, and I will gladly add that also.

Wenis, your time has come. You deserve a Wii probably more than anyone else with all your patience. You might want to go to/call your EB to ask them, since they might have the same shipments as GS, but otherwise I'm almost positive that Gamestop will accept EB credit. Good luck to you!
Just a heads up. I live in South New Jersey, and, even after getting one, I'm always so curious to see who may have them, and I saw that Best Buy or Circuit City both had none in the circulars. It seems this weekend's best bet may be Gamestop, as stores always advertise Wiis when they have them. (I remember last week, Target, BB, and CC all had them in the flyers.

Ok, im definately going to EB Games tomorrow. My dad still owes me 70 dollars though, but I still have about 60 in EB games store credit, will probably have to use that

Hmmm... it depends. For the week when Diamond/Pearl were released, it opened at 8 A.M. On Sundays other than that, my local GS opens at 11 (yes, 11), but it varies by store. You should still go there early though, it's well worth the wait! (I was waiting for over 3 hours in 20- degree wheather, and my mom was waiting with me. Even she thinks it's worth it now that she and I get so much enjoyment out of it.)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any new shipment info? I'm trying to get one now, but they're out of stock everywhere.
It seems like the past couple months have had a trend of shipments every Sunday, is that true?
not really. think about it. shipments come by UPS or FedEx (forget which). does it really make sense they're getting shipments from a company that doesn't deliver on Sunday? no
though it is by habit that stores get a shipment and don't put them out for a couple days. Sunday, Tuesday and Friday are the most popular days to put out the units
as always, your best bet is just to camp out and wait. get a good DS game, learn to wake up really early all the time, and spend a few hours outside the store before it opens waiting for the day they come in
i know it sucks, but unless you do something unmentionable for the owner of the store or sell your soul, only extreme situations will get you a Wii

Anyway, stores usually get them on random days (They come from both UPS and Fed Ex), so, as Rodimus said, your best bet is to camp out.
However, there is a solution that sometimes works! If you ask a store associate when the next shipment of a certain game and/or accessory, such as a controller, is coming in, Wiis also tend to come in around the same time. Hope this helps, and good luck getting your Wii!

And, as I said before, good luck, and Sunday is usually the big day. If stores recieve any on weekdays, they usually hold them until sunday. However, they may put them on the floor around noon time, so once again, it's random and there's no real definitive answer.

I don't know where everyone lives, but Southern Michigan's Walmarts tend to get 8-10 Wii's in mid week and they're just sitting there in the case.
I wish my Walmart got that many. People are like animals in there. They spot a Wii, they'll tear others apart to get there first. That's why i don't shop at that Walmart much
