Hello,
As an owner of a Wii and Xbox 360, I know how hard it is to find that console when it's in rare stock. This thread is created to assist people in finding a console as quickly as possible for retail price at stores across the country. Here, I hope to be able to predict/confirm patterns, as well as speculated or confirmed shipment data. Please state your info and source, or just give advice. This thread is for fun and to help everyone out, so Good luck to everyone who is still Wii-less.

Yes this is a very good thread idea. I still do not have my Wii and I need something like this. I live in Central Florida and my Best Buy had like 30 this morning but I wasn't informed. However, next shipment that comes in I know that I will be there to get one. So far every one of my stores claims they don't know but Best Buy told me to call tomorrow and ask.
My guy at best buy says they are going to get shipments in every Sunday.
ugh.....next sunday is so far away.....

Now THATS helpful. That kind of sucks that I have to wait that long, but I can't really do it any sooner because I have school so it's not like I could camp out. However, there are rumors from my friend that my EB will be getting some on friday. Unfortunately my EB averages like 1-2 systems per shipment!

sc7, whose your source about the Wii shipment to GameStop tommorow?
That's the only information I really care about, as I don't have a Best Buy around here.
I'm glad you all would all be able to use this thread. My source for Gamestop is several postings on this forum. Why I concider this credible is the fact that all of these postings seem to be consistent with eachother. Most people seem to agree on the time, as well as the amount. Should these numbers have been radically different, I may have discredited this source.
What I plan on doing, to make this thread even more useful, is to discuss them in the body of the thread, and constantly update the first post when we reach a date we deem credible. I am willing to do this until Wii supplies become stable, regardless if I get mine or not. This not only helps us achieve our systems (hopefuly), but will also allow us to determine the credibility of internet "bites", which have so far seemed fairly accurate.
There is also a third tier to the purpose of this thread: Speculation. Upon analyzing the patterns of shipments and their correlation to individual stores, we can predict shipments as well, and also speculate patterns. (such as I believe Best Buy will continue to stockpile for each sunday flyer throughout the holiday season). This also is consistent with what "Sublime LBC" said. This makes sense, and we will see as time goes on if this is in fact true.

OK, good idea. Another speculated pattern is that Sam's Club gets Wii's every late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. They usually have them in stock Sunday mornings, but I don't have one around here.
the following is not based on any inside source i have at any store. in fact when i contacted best buy, eb games, software etc, and toys r us all near ventura, california and they all gave me the same 'i dont know when the next shipment is, no one does' so anyways, the following list is only what ive gathered from this forum. so for my sake, and those who havent gotten one yet, please feel free to correct and add to this info.

@ Joel, that Sam's club pattern was actually described to me by a Sam's club manager. However, this morning, I was unable to get one there, as they did not get any. We'll see more into that.

I know that they all give the stock answer, I still know they know more than what they say. Best buy does look as if Sundays will be a repeat pattern (If so, thats where I'll be camping next Saturday). Toys R Us also seems to be good for sundays. (usually so they can advertise a large amount in ads and create hype).
Gamestop, EBgames and whatnot usually seem to have sporatic shipments in small amounts, and sell what they get.
Something interesting. Wal-mart usually gets them on wednesdays at around 11, and stock at 12, according to a worker there that I know. The timing is inconvienent, as it's a 24-hour store where I live.
Alright guys keep them coming. By the way I called all of my places as well in Ocala, Florida and they claim to not know. However, Best Buy told me to call back tomorrow and ask the manager. I can imagine my best buy getting some more this sunday because so far they have always followed the trend of the other best buys across these forums.
A buddy of mine is getting with this girl who works at Toys 'R' Us, so I'll see if I can't keep everyone informed of that store's shipment patterns...let's hope my buddy can keep getting with her long enough for a good amount of people here to benefit.

Wiis will be coming into all Best Buys with a delivery date of Friday 12/29/06, not sure if they will be held till sunday or sold upon reciept.
If anyone wants me to check their Best Buy, just pm me with store number (preferably), or location.
Target is the best store to find Wii accessories like the Wii Remote, Nunchuck, etc. Every time I am in a Target I find so many accessories, but no Wii console itself. Luck is never on my side. This sucks.
