Meh. I only saw the first one. I mean, the scenes are awesome, but the movies as a whole kinda killed the joy I got from watching them, so I figured the second and third would too, and didn't want to be disappointed.

why are you backing down, anyway? I'm not scary... >.>
But Saw 1 rocks! Lol, it has an interesting storyline. Saw 2 and 3 are bloodbaths just trying to shock audiences with a sort of weak storyline on life support. Of course for Saw 4 and 5 the original writer has quit so now the plug has been pulled on the storyline's life support and the next 2 will probably be lame.

I know when I'm beat lol. Every Super Villain must. Also I haven't had my "Solo" today.
"Solo"...?
but...I couldn't beat you, so who did?

Yeah...if they're just bloodbaths without any kind of storyline to it, then I find it pointless. But if you take the ending scenes of The Audition (Japanese film), I loved it! The movie itself may have been slow, but the story was necessary to lead up to the last like...15/20 minutes of it. I got chills down my spine, and got excited. With Saw, I wasn't able to really get that feeling.
I would like to make a movement proposing the end of the horror genre, its tired and overdone lol.

"Solo"... a nice tasty lemon drink to get Lemon Man to the top of his game.
eeewww, lemon drink? I don't do soda's or juices or anything like that...I stick with iced tea, water, hot chocolate, and vodka. >.>

but but...horror = my drug. If there were an end to the horror genre, I might die from withdrawal. You don't want me to die, do you? I do agree that it's getting old and the same things are being repeated too much, so why not just ban people from using the same style as others? Still have the horror films, but they all have to be original storylines.
Now that would be spectacle, horror films with original storylines. Saw was one of those but its already being done to death by its own creators. Why does each horror movie need about 3 or 4 sequels?

Lemon drink ftw!
because they feel that if their original story hit it off once and twice, they have the magic to be able to do it again and again and again, until they start to lose money on the productions.

Welch's Sparkling White Grape Juice ftw.
But for some reason it still works. It feels like the movie industry is being raped lol.

Coca-cola ftw!
You could say that for love stories, comedies, and Scary Movie...

Coca-cola = yick
Oh, I do, I do. Love stories are overdone and so are comedies, in fact cinema itself has become trash with the exception of a few notable films every now and again.

Pepsi ftw.
Pepsi = yick too. So does Sprite, 7up, etc. etc.

I should go into filmmaking...just to make one movie, have it be so original and a huge hit, and then retire. Maybe that would give other directors and scriptwriters realize that originality (and only ONE film of that originality) is needed.
It'd be nice, but most filmmakers love money too much. And will rehash anything to get it.
that's very true. but to be quite honest, I feel that if a director made just one really really good film (like Rocky Horror Picture Show), and that was it, that's all they'd need to be set for life. Why risk losing all the money you make off of RHPS by making one that sucks (like he did, but nobody talks about it cause it sucks so much), when you could reap profit from every time the theater was filled when it first came out, every time it STILL gets shown to sold-out theaters, for every VHS and DVD that people bought, for every Audience Participation Soundtrack sold, etc. etc.
Its sad, someone needs to save cinema.
I'll do it! People will be scared of me though...
People are always scared of new things.
Yaaay, I'm a new thing then ^^

Sounds like an interesting cocktail

Sounds like something I may or may not have made at my last cocktail which was my production companies awards night.

What do you think happens when you leave a bunch of directors and actors with lots of unguarded alcohol?
