Nah no news. I remember talk about Mario Kart Revolution. So I'd say its in development... but they won't talk about it yet. Maybe at Nintendo World later this year (presuming its on)

I hope this comes out right away. They don't make near enough of Mario Kart. Isn't that always a huge seller for them. There needs to be a Mario Kart come out by summer and another one in 2008!

Well, there's a steering wheel attachment for GT Pro Series by Ubisoft.  It's just a rubber gripper though, no buttons or anything.  It wouldn't be hard to imagine Nintendo making one for a Mario Kart game.  Remember all that crap with the N64?  The attachment thing for Pokemon Stadium, the Hey You, Pikachu microphone, the rumble paks, etc.  The steering wheel thing could have a plug built into the right inside that the wiimote would plug into.  Two shoulder buttons could control the sliding.  OR they could make you slide by turning the opposite way like you would in real life (see Pixar film "Cars").

One Mario Kart per Nintendo console is fine with me.

That way the franchise isn't spammed and ruined like Mario Party.

I think they could make more than one and still make a quality game. It's not like it's a huge RPG. Burnout & Need 4 Speed have put out good sequels to their racing games, haven't they?

Need For Speed flogs its series to death and Burnout isn't too bad. I think Mario Kart needs to limit itself.
