Has ANYBODY got the sinking lure? I have tried to locate it for ours. Now dont give me the obvious BS of its in the Northwest area...any strategy guide can tell me that. But exactly where is it located? I have depleted my rupees a few times now trying to get the frog lure as well. The seventh puzzle is hard core. I found the bottle on the first cast...its just those darn lures are hard to get. I may just stick with trying to get the frog lure, its seems a little easier. Any info is appreciated.
I got it. It's in the southeast, not northwest. You have to use your bobber lure.
See I have heard many things, and Nintendo Power's strategy guide to boot. I won the frog lure, supposedly just as good. I will try it out thanks. Finally someone who actually plays more than just the main levels and dungeons.
/bump..... I have cought almost everything. All fish ( except the big hyrule loach ) boots, tin cans, and boat wheels. I have tried to bobber fish all over the pond ( mostly in the SE and NW corners ) with and with out bait but, I cant catch the stupid sinking lure.
Any help here would be nice. Try to post what season, bait, or anything you might have done to catch the sinking lure. ( if you can remember

you have to lure fish and catch 1 catfish, 1 bass, and 1 pike. Then the lure is "available".
Thanks eVo but, I have already did that ( with the lure of course ) I have spent quite a bit of time fishing with no luck of the sinking lure >.< I even have the frog lure ( rollgoal 1-8 is a *****! )...... but geting the frog lure seems easier to get then the sinking lure at least for me
ya im at 1-8 too it blows. i waste so much money on that game its crazy
LMFAO I gave up on the sinking lure too. Rollgoal was hard as nails, but easier than fishing every square inch of the fishing hole. And to think if you beat roll goal 1-16 it gives you some measly prize. Or something like that.
I found the sinker at the far edge of the land in the fishing hole. When entering the fishing go all the way left cross the bridge and fish up against the wall with your bobber. I was at the end of the land and cast pretty much up against the stone wall. Don't know if this helps but thought I would help.
i can not find it anywhere
After trying for the sinking lure FOREVER i decided to give up for a bit. I played more of the story and after I got the upgraded fishing hook I went back........ FIRST cast I got the lure!!!
in the SE corner. I dont know if you have to have the upgraded fishing hook but it worked for me
