Lol Waluigi would be great. I can see it now. Mario and Luigi VS Wario and Waluigi. That would be a freakin awesome match.

Waluigi would be cool, but he won't be the all powerful last character he's too lanky.

I'd like to see the return of Mario 2 characters. Wart, Mouser,Tryclyde, FryGuy, Pokey, etc. I hope they make it in the game somehow. Anyone but birdo.

And how about some mf'ing Toad? He's long overdue to comeback as a playable character. He gets no love in a lot of games.

I love characters from Mario's World but i thinks there enough in SSBB as is and there are probaly a couple more they're hiding. As for toad in Brawl, he's already Peaches counterattack.

I think they'll change Peach's counterattack. But I also doubt that Toad will be a playable character.

Well Hell if Pichu was granted the right to appear then Toad should have had a spot too.

In other words, even though Toad is annoying he is still light years cooler than Pichu.

Crono would be cool, but I don't see it happening. It's a great game, but it's pretty obscure and it wasn't a significant first. Yeah, it was one of the greatest games of all time, but it wasn't Nintendo's first character, he isn't a classic character, and Crono isn't exactly associated with the Nintendo name. It could happen, but I doubt it.

Terra would be absolutely insane awesome (or any FFVI character). I can just see Terra's morph in action or possibly Celes' Runic blade. Sadly, I don't think it's happen though. FFVI is another one of those greatest games of all time games, but it's really associated with Nintendo and it's still fairly obscure. Though with FFVI Advance coming out next week (WOOT!), hopefully FFVI will become more well known and it would be awesome of the developers had that in mind.

I wouldn't mind seeing Sonic in SSBB, I just wouldn't like him as the final character. Sonic is cool and I'm sure he could be fun to play, he just would be the same surprise that Mr Game and Watch was or the insane power house Mewtwo was.

I have about the same opinions as Megaman. He could easily replace Samus and would be just an all around awesome character.

A character I hadn't thought of before was Simon Belmot and he was be pretty insane awesome too, though I wouldn't like him as the final character.

I'd love him to be added, 'cause he could be really unique, but they shouldn't replace Samus with him.

The only reason I was toying with the idea of replacing Samus is because a lot of people are saying it's only going to be Zero Suit Samus in SSBB and no Samus with her normal suit.

We have Kojima down with SSBB, not Konami.

Yeah, but it does kinda open the door. And I'd imagine that Kojima can't sanction the inclusion of Snake in a game alone. Konami probably has some kind of control over his usage, seeing as they are the sole publisher of games starring him. So, if there was talk initiated about Snake's usage with Konami, then I could see the conversation being opened up to include everyone's favorite vampire slayer.

Of course this is pure speculation and wishful thinking; but if some people's view of smash bros character inclusions denoting a promotional push for new games have merit, and citing the rumor that konami has a bunch of new games on the horizon for wii, and then there's castlevania appearing on the VC... I wouldn't entirely rule him out.

The marketing for characters in smash im referring to is that of fire emblem characters appearing, and then games coming stateside (although it could also be said that the later happened due to demand for more after the former occuring), and some questions raised as to the return of Kid Icarus in a new adventure right when we have Pitt appearing in Brawl--in the evolved 3D glory.
People do it all the time, bands appear on talk shows, actors appear on SNL, celebrities personal life becomes more interesting, just in time for their new movie... you plant the seed for consumer expectation, and you've started a following of people who are ready to buy your new CD/book/video game--Kid Icarus Wii? Castlevania Wii?
