Hi, has anyone heard of a Wii that freezes/hangs after power-up to the Wii channel screen? Mine is doing that right now and I can really do nothing about it. It does not respond to any input 1 sec after the Wii channel screen shows up, all buttons on the consoles or Wii remote are responsiveness. I can only power it off.

The last thing I did when it was still alive was received a few big emails. I called customer service and they said no solution and would send me a replacement system. But I don't really want that because all the Miis are in my system right now and I didn't copy them to the Wiiremote before the system died.

Any input are very much appreciated! Thanks.
....Hmmmm Youre screwed Smile.
I'd love to help, but I've never had that issue Sad
oh boy, i did nothing bad to it. Everything I did I followed the manual. How come I ended up like this.

Thanks for the replies.
A few times after not playing my wii for a while, I was sent a ton of Mii's, and it took several minutes to access the Mii Channel. The screen was blank the entire time, so I tried not to worry, and sure enough, after a while, it loaded just fine.
nothings happened to me like that
Maybe when I get my Wii in January of February, these kinds of bugs will be worked out.
Would someone please add me to their friend's list?

I like to see if this would create a miracle to fix my problem.

Thank you very much.
This may seem obvious, but for now should we just not except Mii's from people till all of this get's better?
You can't refuse Mii's I think.
Well technically if you've added someone to your list and they have replied then you're already connected. If they send you a Mii it will automatically go to your Mii Plaza unless you turn travel off. I have received and sent Miis with no serious problems though a couple of times when I've created or received many Miis the Mii channel will open slowly because it's loading the latests ones, after that initial load it will load fast again next time. Good luck with your problem though. I hope it works out for ya.
I had mine freeze up, I unplugged it...plugged it back in. Never happened again. Your warranty is good for six months if you registered it with nintendo. And Nintendo stands behind its products. I had my DC take a dump on me, Sega had a brand new one at my doorstep in 2 days.BOOYAH!good luck
