Nintendo Wii - $399 (Full price)
Legend of Zelda - $79 (Save $20)
Wii Play + Wiimote - $69 (Wiimote alone costs $59)
So far looks like Target is the clear winner for my purchase of games.
NOTE: Go to the sources to see the pictures, print them out and take em' to EB if you wish to get it matched.
Target are monsters, i went to the one in geelong after seeing ads on the net to pre order and they told me they didnt pre order them. so i went to Eb games, $480 for a wii and wii play.
Did you mention Target had them cheaper?
First post updated with Myer's prices.
I have a question for you. First, I didn't know you are Austrailian! Cool, and here's my question: What system will the Nintendo Wii be in Australia? Will it be NTSC or Pal? Just wondering if the games can be played on a US system...
I am as Aussie as they come, lol.
Australia is sadly under the PAL region, which sucks for both US gamers and Australian gamers.
That does suck. I was hoping to get WiPlay when it comes out there but looks like I'll have to wait for the U.S. version. Here we only have the Japanese version right now, which I can't play without Freeloader and I'm not sure when that is coming out.
Is there a set US date for Wii Play or is it still roughly January-February 07 area?
Unfortunately, I haven't heard of any date being set which blows. My favorite game so far is still Wii Sports as my whole family has so much fun playing it. This looks almost like a sequel to it. I really want to get it!
I'll be playing Wii Sports in 12 hours.
If you are also getting Wi Play, please let me know how it is. I really love Wii Sports and I think you'll love it to. Especially if you play with others, all games are best with friends/family IMO.
I think one of my friends is getting Wii Play, so I'll post my impressions about the game if he ends up getting it.
i was no on when this topic started but yes target is cheapest but i already pre-orded the wii and wii play and zelda with eb, cant wait not long now WHOWHOWOHWHOW
Not long now, its 5pm... launch is at 12am...
My friend just picked up his ticket, he is number 9.
