Sorry if I'm just Wiitarded and this has been said before but I thought that it was said that every Monday there would be an update and they would add new VC games. Now it's Tuesday and I've tried to check several times to see if they have indeed added any games or if there is an update and I don't see anything. It says I have the latest one. Isn't it supposed to be every Monday or was I dreaming when I saw that info?
Maybe they meant that if they were going to add games to the VC it would be on a Monday?
Yeah, maybe that's it but I really thought I read that someone from Nintendo, maybe Reggie, that the would release VC games every Monday until the end of the year. Supposed to be 30 or something I thought...
Monday weekly VC releases
A press release by Nintendo has stated new games will be added to the Virtual Console catalog every week on Mondays, starting tomorrow (December 4th). Tomorrow's additions are as follows:
Donkey Kong Jr (NES)
Columns (Genesis)
Ristar (Genesis)
Victory Run (TG-16)
See, I'm not crazy. I did figure something out though that made me go Duh. My Wii is on 24 hour connect, so it must have updated while I was asleep and since it wasn't an update to the actual bios or anything the blue light didn't come on. I do see those games listed above on the shop when I checked.

i got mine monday morning, have no problem getting the new ones at all. and grinch got the list for this last monday right. and yes, reggie did say everymonday, and we have heard that from a number of sources now.
Yeah, I got mine too. I just forgot that because I have on Wi-Connect 24 that it updates while I'm sleeping. I'm not in the U.S. so it updates at a weird time for me when I'm not using it and these kind of updates don't cause the blue light to come on. It's all good now, thanks.
ya, i dont think that a VC update really qualifies as a Wii update, nothing on your wii changes, it just adds stuff to the wii shop channel, so when you connect to that you see them, know what i mean? its like if they updated this website, they dont change your computer, they just change what your connecting too.

I think we all got the "update" it added parental control to the system...not a VC issue. But yeah a few more games popped up. I still have 2500 points to burn. I dont know who "hand picked" these games at nintendo but the selection is a bit sparse. I want punch out!!! Or some sweet thq 64 wrestling titles....NWO vs WCW.....Just more 64 stuff in general.

Yeah, M$ has it tied up right now. Nintendo is working on it but who knows what will happen. *ManaBurnX crosses his fingers and thinks how hard it is to type like this.

I grabbed an N64 down the flea market for that reason alone.
for all the people saying they want super mario brothers, it comes out in about 7 hours =) atleast for me, check christmas morning.
