I looked up this game and it has gotten nothing but good reviews from gaming sites. Many say this game is hilarious. But doesn't this game just look childish? If you have played this game tell me if this game sucks or not.

i love this game! its great, if you want a fun multiplayer game, i would higly recomend it. yet its kind of "goofy" but it is pretty darn funny. and there are some great minigames in it.
Rayman IS a great game. I am a grown man and this game rips! So many games I cant name em all. And after you beat it, it has more levels to unlock and play so it doesnt end there. Challenging enough it will take a few days to beat, and it is not a kids game. Not at all, I bought it FOR my kids and they cant hang with it. It is a tough game. You need to be coordinated to even think of beating it. I give the highest possible score, I should have bought it instead of red steel I will say that. It has alot of replay value and is a gas to watch as well as play.Go get it.
The only thing I don't like about rayman is that there is no multiplayer mode where you just hit "Go" and play through a bunch of levels at random. A lot of the games aren't co-op either, so instead you take turns doing a single player version.

Also, you have to unlock all the games in single player first, so if you play with a friend you'll never both get to a see a game that neither of you have played before.

Other than that it's fun. The rail shooter parts are the best imo.

incorrect sir, there are many multiplayer modes including co-op, the only down side is you earn them threw single player games, but once you do there all unlocked and there are many multiplayer and coop games. it only took about 3 hours to finish the single player "story" (if it can be called a story) mode.

Games sometimes need violence Games sometimes need Humor..This one got bothWink Well if you like to kick the bunnies ass...Toungue
Yeah, I keep forgetting about the fact you have to play the games in single player in order to play it in multiplayer, just another reason to hate the multiplayer. Still though, I di highly recomend this game as it is one of the most fun games I've ever played.
I'm seriously thinking of getting this game. I don't care what others might say when they see I bought it because I'm crazy about multiplayer games and I saw a video of the shooting part where you shoot the plungers, it looks so fun!
Ever since I saw the launch lineup I wanted Twilight Princes and Rayman no questions. I would definietly recommend it.
rayman is great, i highly recomend

The game is insane fun. Just about all the minigames are exucted perfectly and really makes for a great single player experience. If you're looking at this for a multiplayer game, you will be dissapointed. Even with the plunger game, it's still not more fun with two players (it was less fun for me).

shouldnt this be under the "gaming" section?

anyway, this game looks really good IMO and i'll probably get it after i get to try / buy madden 07

What I mean is that not all of the multiplayer games are done at the same time. For instance, if you play the game where you close the bathroom stalls, you take turns at it instead of playing simultaniously. I'd say about half of the multiplayer games are that way, which is kind of disappointing.

I still think it's a great launch title, and I'm glad to own it. I think Mario Party will be better, but it won't be out for some time.

Those are the two games I bought and I love them both! It's great because if I feel like going on long missions, I play TP. If I want minigames or am in a silly mood, Rabbids does the trick. I've had a couple friends over and they all love playing the minigames on Rabbids. I like it cuz it's violent but not in that army/ninja way that I can't get into. Definintely give it a look!

i know its sacreligous but i play rayman waaaay more than even zelda...actually excite truck is pretty addictive too
I agree with Drew102...I play Zelda when I can but there's something about Rabbits dancing to Naughty By Nature and creating custom playlists for Excite Truck that hooks you.
Its been said already, but I too give my high accolades for Rayman.

I am/was a big Monkey Ball fan on the GC for its MP aspects (and single player was great as well, and beat both 1 & 2), but was highly disappointed with it on the Wii. Its the first game I've played that seems to have not put the Wiimote to good use (they were too literal with some of the inputs, causing issues, especially with the reliance on aiming at the screen but still performing an action with the remote).

Anyways, after being so disappointed with SMB:BB, I hoped Rayman would redeem it and give the same experience the first to SMBs did. Needless to say, it is above and beyond my hopes. I highly recommend it, both as a single and multi player experience.
Well this thread is very reassuring. I have bought it, though Wii-less. I was almost getting kind of worried that it wouldn't live up to expectations, but I have no doubts.
i may rent this, but i highly doubt i'll ever buy it. i was hoping for another platformer and i'm not really a fan of a game that is nothing but mini-games. at least super monkey ball: bananna blitz has a main game in addition to it's 50 mini-games.
