Hey new here i checked online for wii fansites and found this

I was searching 'Wii Box Size' on google to try to find out whether the present under the tree was a wii or not, and came across a thread in this site

o and i'm pretty sure it is a wii...

Whenever I type in 'nickname:Flipper' in google, the first thing that pops up is Wiiloaded! lol cool. followed by my website.

This is a great place to get Wii friends.

We're actually pretty close to the top when on Google. You can type in almost anyones user name and Wiiloaded will pop up there showing some of the posts that person has made.

How did that happen?

I was searching for "win a nitendo wii" or maybe "wii forums" on google. WiiLoaded wasn't first. I went through a couple of other sites but there was something about them that just didn't appeal to me. So I settled for........... thewiiforums.com. After being a pretty active member there for a week under milkman1042, I realised that the forum was pretty much dead since it was a miracle to see three or more people online. So the day that they got hacked I left and re-did my Google search. This time I went to page 2 and found this oasis in the desert. Glad I did too.

Yeah, I'm curious... how IGN? Was there an ad there?

I don't think z6 could've afforded ad space on IGN.
As far as I know ads were only on Google.

Wait! That's it! I was searching on Google, saw the ad and then came here. I have no idea where that other story came from, although I really was at thewiiforums for a while.

Its all I can think of lol, does Google post ads on IGN in the Wii section? That could be how...

Out of the many times I've been to IGN I've never seen any of the Google text ads. They usually have banners accross the top and sides.

Yes, it seems that google is slowly giving us some links back. Searching for Wii Forum gets WiiLoaded #4.
