OMG I just bought the guide and boy have I missed a lot. If anyone's gonna pick this up, pass up the walmart one and go to toy r us where they have it packaged much nicer.

i think the guide i have is the NP guide, but im barely using it until i do my second run through to collect everything
I find both guides are good for certain reasons. Prima has nicer pictures and is slightly more detailed, while the NP one is designed in such a way that you can look one thing up without giving another thing away.
Not really. The players guides actually have maps and stuff. The game FAQ can be as discriptive as it wants, but it can never beat a map with an arrow saying "right here".

My dad picked up this really nice Prima Guide at Gamestop. It's like a hard cover with nice gold trimmed pages. Reminds me of a damn bible ha ha. It even comes with this little cloth map and whatnot. One of the employees said they were selling out quick and it looks neat.It will make a great addition to the collection.
