I'm just happy to get my wii. Gamecrazy doesnt give out reservation tickets either. Its all on their computer. The warranty from gamecrazy is a year warranty. How long is the warranty that comes with the wii? And how long does the extention online make it? I might buy something else if the included warranty is long enough.
OK, here is some info for you:
The Wii warranty is 12 months long, so if you register it you get 15 months with Nintendo. I also think you should not buy the one from gamecrazy, instead buy more points. I say this because this is a way of keeping it as money, in the sense that you can hold them as long as you want until a VC game you want comes out (they are releasing more every week).

Also it is in the information included with your Wii that the length is 12 months. If gamecrazy says anything different they are lying to you.

First thing I usualy do with anything Nintendo is register it at the website. Pretty cool freebies. Usually nothing that's valuable, but cool wall papers and such.

They aren't very trustworthy, considering what they've already done. I had never heard of Gamecrazy, until this thread, and I'll assure you, I'm not buying from them. That's EB Games and Gamecrazy on my ban list.
I bought a PS2 game from EB Games back in '05. I brought it home, opened the "sealed" package, and it was scratched up pretty bad. I had taken it back to the store, and they refused to trade the game out or give a refund, because they couldn't verify I didn't do the damage. Come to find out, EB Games will let an employee play the games and even take them home, only to resell them as "new", although they're in pretty bad shape.
Yeah, I hear them talk about doing that in the store. How attractive that makes them! I even bought a game from them.. I believe it was Lunar for the GBA... It had a file with like 36 hours on it. It was ridiculous. I bought it late in the day and played a decent amount on it as well but I took the game back and complained my head off to get the money back. Thank god they didn't try to pull a fast one on me. Plus.. I had just bought it the day before.. it would have been physically impossible to have played 36 hours over night heh.
ya, i would write into gamecrazy's headquorters, ask if this is actually the case? and if not report them. i know when i got my Wii from EB at launch, the guy there was an absolute idiot, and im going to report him. hopefully get him out of there, no great loss.
alright guys i just got my wii!!! Everything worked out well. It turned out the guy I talked to at first had no idea what he was talking about. They said i could choose on the warranty so i got rayman instead.

what a bunch of Nazi's. it's too bad that $hitburg stores like gamecrazy have to force a consumer to keep their sorry asses in business by screwing over the customer base. if your receipt doesn't say anything about an extra 5 items, i'd call them up and threaten to sue over it.....
