Dude's! I want this soo bad! I just started playing MMORPG, and I have to say it is a wicked game. If only Nintendo Wii would support online play for MMORPG's. I would be a fan for life!

BTW, why is online game play on the consoles always with a low amount of people? With computers I always see 32+ players on a server sometimes even up to 70 in call of duty. Yet on the consoles it's more like 12 or 16?
From what your saying it sounds like you believe the game is actually called MMORPG ( Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) are you talking about Runescape? World of Warcraft? Some other MMORPG ive never heard of?
lmao, my bad. I meant to say Guild Wars MMORPG
*looks on Wiki* huh, looks like it was a MMORPG but now its a CORPG (Competitive/Cooperative Online Role-Playing Game). The game any good?
After plopping down 50 dollars and with free monthly game play I have to say this game rocks! I just hope I don't get too addicted to it, going to have to check into an institution.
This would definitely be interesting to see an MMORPG on the Wii. However I would hope it would be an original title instead of a Guild Wars or WOW copy utilizing the Wii-mote. I guess either would be okay but I would really like to see a Wii microphone or something of the sort for communication to your fellow teammates. The whole point and type concept can get a little tiring and if you're trying to say something extensive it would prove to be difficult.

It's easier for a PC to do that with that many people on a server than with a console. 2 different stories.. I'm guessing it'll start to pick up though.

and if your playing XBL, the subscription fee is a turn off to some gamers. another theory would be that many households have computers with internet nowadays, but consoles aren't EVERYWHERE. also take into account that most game publishers just put MMOs on PC instead of consoles and that PC onlilne gaming has been around for quite a few years. had time to build a community of PC online gamers.
What if you're in the middle of a raid and your Wii-mote runs out of batteries so you wipe and get gkicked?
I read an interview with Reggie somewhere that 3rd Party developers have already looked into, and are in very early stages of making an MMORPG for the Wii, but Nintendo has themselves have no intention of doing so.
i played guild wars for a while, but then i started playing silkroad (free, no monthly fees, great 3d graphics) .....i think it would be pretty sweet to play a mmorpg, especially because most mmorpg's these days are not very original, so if they integrated some cool controls and features then some people would definitly by a wii just for that.

yes that interview is Right Here. i would also love to see some kind of MMORPG, but prefereably, i would like to see it on multiple consoles, if not all of them, like FF11 is on PC PS2 and 360. that would be sick, but we also need a better way to chat if we have this. and also no monthly charge would be nice Wink. but these kinds of games are very fun and very addictive if we could get one.

I think if Nintendo worked out a yearly payment like live it would be fine. I pay 50 and dont think about it for a year. Compared to monthly payments for PC MMORPG's if you could play one for that it would be incredible.

The only reason I worry about it being 'free' is because you know nothing is free. There would be extra content in the form of Wii Store downloads for Wii points. I would rather pay 50 for a year and have everything on a game I can get than be charged 5 bucks here and there. You know that would add up passed 50 in a year and that would be just for a single game.

For games I dont think we will have WoW and honestly im glad cause I don't want to touch that disaster. I want a really awesome PSO. Mostly for nostalgia, PSO on my DC was the first MMORPG I ever played and it was free.

I can't think of any other existing MMORPG franchises that would ever be on Wii. I think if there is one it's going to be one we haven't seen in another form on any other console or on PC. I just hope whatever it is they give it the proper service and give it plenty of depth.
