UK, December 6, 2006 - First details of the SSX Blur have emerged with Electronic Arts announcing that the Wii exclusive snowboarding game will feature all the big air jumps and downhill thrills the series is famed for, but will also make the most of motion-sensitive controllers. According to the press release every move the player makes in real life will be translated into the game, which probably means you tilt the Wii-mote to change the angle of the board.

"We wanted to take the soul of the franchise - the air, the speed, the tricks, the fun - and Wii-ify it," said Alex Hyder, SSX's producer (and yes, he really did say 'Wii-ify'). "You're going to see that reflected in the on-the-ground and in-the-air controls, the characters, the user interface, and every other aspect of this game." Expect a game with phat jumps and neat controls then, when it grinds onto Wii next March.

cool. this sounds like a lot of fun.
I've never played one of these games before, but this might just be a good intro to the genre for me.

I've played Cool Boarders on Playstation, and it's very, very fun! Seriously, it's fun to even the laziest of people.

This is definately another purchase. I'm going to end up spending more for this console, than every other console I've owned, combined.

I've always loved the SSX game series, they are all about big air, huge tricks, and tons of fun......I love to board (in realy life) so these games are extra fun for me....I'll def be pick'n it up..Big Grin
