We all know the Wii is awesome, but there's always room for improvement. What sorts of firmware updates would you like to see in the future?
I want more options for my Miis. I simply am unable to make it look like me (mohawk, anyone? and unnatural hair color?)
And an ability to import your own soudtrack to ANY game would be AWESOME! I don't think it would be too difficult, either--just have it set up like on the 360 where it runs in the background. Maybe access it from the HOME menu?

I was thinking nintendo needs to do a firmware update to put a big tree in the middle of Mii plaza. And you can decorate it by using the wiimote to drag ornaments onto it. And tinsel. And mabye drag your miis onto it and hang them like a ornament. And then have a big glowing sprite sorta like my sig on top of it. Like from mario sunshine. And have special santas that nintendo themselves put into the mii parade that they made cause their special and can do that. And if your luck you get one
I would like to see Ninty release something that gives the VC demos, also would like more channel customization, Mii's need more customization, it would also be nice to see the WiiConnect24 be put to use. I know it is way early in the consoles life, but still would be nice to show all the early adopters what this system is about.

Ummm there is about 100000000000 freaking channels slots you just have to click the arrow that is pointing right on the right hand of the screen its pointing right theres about 8 pages of wii channel slots.
720p, that would kick ass
How about some sort of adapter, combined with a firmware update, where you plug your gameboy cartridge /gameboy advance cartridge into the USB slot (via the adapter) and then you can play them on the Wii, yeah, maybe too hard, but I want it anyways.
How about a new channel which features interviews, news, reviews, previews, and other things about new Wii and DS games?
I would like more features for the Mii characters like most of you. An MP3 and video channel (proper one, not the slideshow version), demo channel to try out Wii games, more supported formats for video so I wouldn't have to convert files and get monsterous file sizes, and world peace! Not sure if even Nintendo could do that unless they gave everyone a Wii to bring everyone closer together. =)
I think they should allow you to put all ur (insert franchise here) VC games into one channel... example all mario games in one channel, all castlevania channel... the list could go on.. .you get my point =P and how bout old gameboy and gameboy colour games to vc? maybe they have plans for that in the furture... i havnt heard anything about it tho

There's only 48 slots. As for crazycraig, Nintendo promised some big stuff for Christmas, or Chanukah if you're into that kind of thing.
I totally forgot about the USB ports on the back. I would almost die with happiness if they allowed us to connect external harddrives to the back. Would make it even better if we had a multimedia channel that could play more video formats and MP3. Combined together would be great.
Yeah, better mii characteristics would be nice. But concerning the SD cards being able to play VC games on other systems, it probably won't happen. Nintendo does not want piracy issues to deal with (unless if someone modded the wii)
you know what i would really like to see?certain patches you download for games you already have. like new levels, characters, and ONLINE PLAY! lol

Ability to connect my iPod for music playback
Hmm.. The Ipod thing sounds interesting. I don't have an Ipod and I hate them to death but all mp3 players would be neat. I know the Wii is meant for gaming but it would be neat to have a music player for mp3's.
I also think there is a mic inside the wii-mote.. because I do and it just sounds neat heh. A hidden mic but I still would like to see a mic for the Wiiiii!
More Mii options would be cool and the like an IM/chat kinda thing in there as well.
A bluetooth headset support
Yeah, bloody brilliant I say! Or else I'll have to force everyone I know into Ventrilo while I'm playing.
Still I'm really excited for any headset support! I hope they do consider it or some form of chatting besides the messages.
Also I need more Mii Space. I feel bad leaving my Mii's all alone in the parade. They should give us 500 mii blocks for them! Also it would be great to make your own Mii city. So when they go to the plaza it wouldn't just be empty space. You could have streets and cars and little areas and places where they could hang out. It would just make it less plain.
