I got so excited today when I went to a local store and I saw them selling the Wii classic controllers with the bundled in card that gave 5000 points. I asked what the price was and the guy told me 3,500 baht, which is equivilant right now to $100 US dollars... That shattered all my dreams of finally getting Wii points because they don't sell the cards here yet and I don't use a credit card. The store said if no card in it, then they would sell it for $75. Still a rip off. Cheapest I can find the class controller here is $35 US. Just thought I'd like to say that I found the set being sold in stores though.

On a side note, it's a shame about the Wii over here. I got mine already and paid about $600 for mine! Couldn't wait for it to come officially. However, I can get Wiis easily here and Wimotes, nunchucks, component cables are in stock are all over the place. I have them all but had to pay ridiculous prices to get them. Still at least I got the chance to get them. I feel for some who are still Wiil-less...
Where are you located?
Bangkok, Thailand. I'm an American but I have been living here for the last 8 years.
I can possibly ship one to you, but I have to find one first.
I found one shop where the classic remotes are at an ok price but I'm in no hurry to get one until I can get cards here with value on them. Thanks for the offer though, really appreaciate it.
It would be way cheaper to buy them seperately, but seeing as you are currently not purchasing from America, you're in a hole. Best of luck.
Yeah, I'll just wait until the points can be purchased here one way or another. I'm not in too big of a hurry to play the classics. It would be nice to have the option but I'm okay with waiting. As long as I can download Opera Internet Browser when it is released.
did u say you had yours imported? if so, what region is your machine from? cause a US wii points card might not work for ya.
I didn't have my Wii imported. The shops here in Thailand import all of the systems from either Japan or the US. I got the one that is from the US. When I go to the VC Shop I see the US version and my Nintendo account uses my US Address. I know someone here who used a US address and bought points with his credit card and it worked for him. I'll just wait for the cards to come though and if I still can't do it after that, I'll pay my friend cash to use his credit card for me if that's an option.
