Does anybody else have a tv over 50" that has a black bar at the top of the screen when thier wii is on?
I have a 55" TV that does NOT have a black bar at the top..
..just wanted to give some input.
What settings do you have your tv on?
If your tv isn't widescreen then you're always going to see the "black bars".
IT is a 50" RCA Scenium. I have tried everything. Do you think it might be the Wii because my X360 has no problems.

I am new to the forum, so I haven't had much of chance to look around to know, but are you using component or composite cables for the Wii?
EDIT: Well it looks like you might be using component, based off the fact that you posted in the Component Cable thread.
My TV let me choose what settings to use for my component cable input. Y, Pb, Pr, or RGB, or RGBHV. I chose Y, Pb, Pr. This seemed to work for me. Maybe yours has this option in the setup menu?
I don't know what else to offer, other than try other ports on the back of your TV maybe?
(My TV is a Mitsubishi WS 55313 55")
Well that's a widescreen tv so if the Wii is set to 16:9 in the settings I don't know what to tell you man.
