Everyone knew it wouldn't take long, but we now have conformation of a new Pokemon game for the Wii! Nintendo held a meeting today to discuss the sales figures and success of the DS, after which, they let slip of a new Pokemon Battle game! The game is suppose to go on sale this winter after the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Nintendo is currently calling the game Pokemon Battle Revolution. Unfortunately only one screenshot is available, but we do have a video!

A "wii" amount of info: PBR (Pokemon Battle Revolution, not the beer!) may be compatible with upcoming DS games (I assume Pokemon Diamond and Pearl) and in some way make use of Nintendo's WiiConnect24. Whether you're into Pokemon or not, this will be a big hit!

Even though I'm not really into Pokemon, I work with kids who are, and as a result its growing on me. Hopefully I'll have a DS lite for Christmas, and then Pokemon Diamond or Pearl.

As far as the Wii goes, this game looks like they've finally done Pokemon right. I mean, I've seen the stadium games, and they're good, but the turn-based battles always seem a little bland. True, this looks to be turn-based still, but it also seems to be a little smoother in its transitions. Who knows what will be the ultimate product? I'm looking forward to news on this one.

I'm getting this game just for my friend's sake. Although, the graphics look kickass and it looks like there might be some potential with gameplay and such. Might be fun.

My appologies. I thought you were trying to flame. I remember when I used to play Pokemon. I was the FIRST in my school to start. I know this for sure because I got Blue the day it came out. The first day I was sitting on the steps jamming away on my GB. Week after week our numbers grew.

True, yellow was the best but I put pikachu in the computer.

the first time i played, someone told me that if you traded your pikachu and evolved it then traded it back a raichu would follow you arround... it didn't i was angry for a couple of days cause i couldn't play the surfing game anymore

One time In some game i stole all of my cousins pokemon because he forgot it at my house he was pissed lol
