but the GCN kicks more ass then the Wii version.
On the simple fact that the Wii controls feel alot ported. Infact...

The GCN version looks just as good too even without componant cables.

i cant go back to a zelda game with button mashing. i need to swing it like a fake sword.
dont know why anyone would buy a gc zelda, if they already have it on the wii. If they do say gc is better then the wii, its prob because they need to justify a reason to spend 50 bucks on a game they already have.
Or maybe because the GCN controls are more suited to TP. I don't know, thats why I want to try them both. At least in TP on Cube I'd be able to control the camera, a big thing I liked about WW.

TP Zelda the camera was auto. It made it difficult. Swinging the sword was fun, but this is a port. Not an actually ground up Wii game. But swinging the Wiimote has it perks.
The Wii port has Wiimote controls. Thats all it has over the GCN original.

but all you have to do is press 'z' to centre the camera. well i dont find it much of a bother.
Its just a disappointing step back, surely they could have made some way to control the camera, its much more convenient being able to manually choose the angle rather than the game going "Have this!"
I played the GC version at a friend's today. Controls fine.
Camera and all as well? If so, then thats amazingly awesome.
i wasnt saying there was anything wrong with the camera view. i was just saying how much more fun zelda is with the Wii remote, and how little of an inconvienience it is that you cant control the camera with a 'c' stick. just press 'z'.

thats just how i feel about this particular game.. side by side they are the same.
only exception with the Wii version being mirrored and ported controls.

I'd say swinging the wii-mote to use your sword pretty much makes up for a fixed camera, which i dislike a bit, though i dont have either a wii or TP YET i can tell ya i wont like the fixed camera. but i'll be getting the GCN version for christmas and thats just fine, its the same game just mirrored.
