This game has been out for a while not, but I'd recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed the previous installments. Graphically it's beautiful and the gameplay is a lot of fun. I'm sure you can find it at Walmart for a very reasonable price
I've tried the AoE3 demo it seems pretty awesome compared to 1 & 2, I don't consider buying it, I can never last long enough against boredom. As a strategic war/city building game, I have to say it is in my top 10.
this game can be played much faster then the other ones.....so it's good for the 10 min gamer or the one who wants to play forever
if its good for a few minutes at a time then ill get it still
i was so disapointed with this game, it's now collecting dust.
ow well, atleast i have gal civ 2, turn based space straegy where you can design you own space ships.
it's cool if a little difficult with the smart ai.
would you explain what it was about the game you didn't like? and i think in all fairness since you enjoy Civ 2 so much your probably one of those guys who wants a game to go on for hours and hour or days...AOE was never meant to be like that so i'm guessing that's why your disappointed
it was the silly implimentaion of the game cards, primerily.
to me the game didn't feel full and polished.
hmm, well what i've found is that obviously the longer you play the better the cards get that actually greatly help and make the game (at least for me) more interesting. i can see your point though.
