I sold a Wii to someone for $485, therefore making $235 in the process. I didn't have to pay shipping because I gave it to them personally..
It seems that people are becoming more and more desparate around this time of the year...
I love the Christmas season. ^_^
You still own a WII? If not....harsh....if so....BONUS! My Wii friend
be carefull, on this thread people will bash on you so bad for that, but not me, i think its totally fine. nice job.
I know they'll bash me, and that just warms the cockles of my heart.
Anyway, I bought two Wii's with separate reservations. I keep one for my self for personal use.

LOL like a mullet baby! Business up front...Gangsta in the back!
lol, very nice evo. i was with a friend when he got his on launch day. some1 offered him 500$ on the spot for it, but he said no, lol.

It seems people like you don't know what kindness and generousity of the Christmas season are all about. You find joy in making money off of someone else's hardships, who probably had to find a way to come up with that money to please someone else. You should rename this thread "Proud to be an ***hole". I despise you with every fiber of my body, and find your actions completely despicable. Imagine if our whole world operated like this...
Well, $400 isn't that much, there are Wii's on there for $900!

Well, I just think it's not right, to rip someone off in the Christmas season like that. But hey, if you stayed in the cold for that, and they stayed indoors, an extra $150 is kind of like a service charge. Enjoy your money anyways.
I'd pick staying outside for hours, yes i'm cheap XD.

I enjoyed it when I was there. Good people there i met, good DS action, and good Food.
if it was me, no more than 300, probably.
that's just extortion, right there.
there is no point arguing with ebayers. they'll always have excuses for selling hot items overpriced. but we can't blame their poor soul, they are only getting the extras because desparated people keep bidding on items high so they can get it for their kids. the other day, i was at the mall waiting at GS....5th in line. they didn't get any shipment but one. the kid infront of me just looked so sad. if i was the person who got the wii...i would've turn it over to that kid. to most of us adults, it's just another game system to get over the boredom of a work day. they will always have more systems in a few weeks. but to some kids, they can still enjoy christmas without worrying life.
Yeah, everyone around here are trying to sell them in the papers for $500 and up. It sucks because if they were still like $260 or below, my parents would buy me one, but now I got to wait until after Christmas.

Haha, oh man. Thats great, you made a great profit there. That'll score you a Wii easy, and several games and an extra Wiimote.
Your set.
And for people ripping on him, people shouldn't be that desperate just for a console. It would have been cheaper to wait, but no... their impatience comes at a price.
Those people, I'm afraid to say, might have more money than sense.

dude, get over it, your responce is absolutely retarded. first of all "you find joy in other people's hardships" thats a load of crap, he made a profit, a business deal, he performed a service, and its not a hardship, if they didnt have the money they wouldnt pay it. also, way to be WAY over dramatic with your reply about how you feel about this, that was just stupid and a giant over reaction. and another thing, this was a business arrangement, he performed a service, as has been stated many times. and the whole world does operate like that pretty much, 9/10 business's are in it for a profit, just like he did this time.
im sorry if this seems like an over reaction to anyone, but this guy really ticked me off, he sure does think a lot of himself. sorry if i offended any one, tried to write this with as much taste as possible, and took a lot to not write it with some 4 letter words to...

What business is it of yours what someone else does with their own property anyway?
I know if I had a spare wii, I'd try and make as much money as I could

I stood in line for four hours in the rain and STILL didn't get one. I'm not complaining because I bought one off of craigslist for five hundred ****ing dollars, but I just wanted you to realize that there were people in the world that had to wait in line AND pay extra. Yes it DOES suck to buy a console for five hundred ****ing dollars but if I didn't have the money or the crave for the system I wouldn't have bought it.
Still it sucked spending half a grand on a damn console. People overprice things. Meh, whatever.

yes that is unfortunate that u didnt get one in line. when i was in line there were about 10 people who were to late, but we told them they were to late but the stayed anyways. and i will admit i like to throw it in peoples faces/laugh at them when this happens though(i know its mean but o well), because before the launch they all said they were waiting in line for like 3 or 4 hours, and i kept saying your wrong, u need atleast 6 or 7, i personally waited 12 for a preorder. so it was sweet vengance when i walked past them with my wii and they were left without one.
and also, would u have paid for it if you didnt have the money? sorry im just trying to prove a point. of cource you wouldnt have.
That person could have waited and paid the regular price but they were willing to shell out the cash on the spot. Sure it was overcharged but hell I would have given up my Wii for that much money in $AU, imagine the accessories I could buy.
These people bring these things upon themselves.
