Hey guys, I know Kindrik reported that the new Wii motes will be shipped with stronger remote straps which is good, I jus want to say that Nintendo is sending the new remote straps for free, you jus have to fill in the form at

so, basically, when i get my wii, i just enter the serial number from the wii and i can get 4 straps mailed for free? sweet!
I would assume that it is for wiis that came initially with the weaker wrist straps. I think from now on they are including the stronger straps with the consoles sold.

lol, thats exactly what people are gonna do, but i do have 4 wiimotes so i need them. but yes, all the new systems and wiimotes will be shipped with the new strap, although they probably need to get rid of there old stock with them, but that shouldnt take to long.
i got 3 wiimotes....but i could always use an extra strap haha
Nothing wrong with a little extra! I use the strap that came with my controller gloves...trendy yet colorful. I will probably use the extra strap for my DS lite. Nintendo was holding out on a recall. I emailed em last week they said no recall in the "near future". Two days later...a recall. Nice to see Big N blow smoke up my....something.
I've really had no problem with my current wrist strap, and i've tested it's stregth fairly extensively thus far. Anyways, I will get the new ones just in case these ones are a lot weaker, for safety's sake

i dont like the one that came with the glove cause it doesnt have an adjuster thing
i felt the same way, i liked the wrist strap adjuster, but after a while u realise u done need it, and it looks better.

I agree--I make all of my friends use the straps. When they first came over to try it I said "One rule, guys, even if you're sober, I don't care if you look like a tool, you're wearing the wrist straps or not playing. I've invested FAR too much money for something to break."
