i noticed when i play wii i have to play the volume really low, and then when i switch it over to cable its extremely loud.
When playing at night i have to go into the options and turn the game volume down about 1/2 way.
I think my tv may just be too loud. Any ideas why, or is this normal?
mine seems to be louder too....but im playing it through surround and my tv isnt so thats probly why....actually def. why
I've found this true of every console I've owned with any sort of AV plugs (basically, everything other than my NES and SNES since they use RF)
However, I think the Wii is the best about it--I remember almost blowing my eardrums out when I first learned about it with my 64
I've had the same thing happen to me. I usually have my volume between 10 and 15, but when I turn the Wii on I need to put it at 5 or less or it's super-loud. Haven't figured out why yet.
this is normal for different machines made by different companies, my wii is a little louder then the TV. but when i have my DVD player playing, it has to be ALL the way up to be as loud as cable. but the TV and sony are made by cable o.O o well. just a theory.
