All of a sudden my Wii can't connect to the internet for the forecast channel update. its worked flawlessly ever since i bought it on launch day, and i did receive the message today from nintendo. but now i cant connect whatsoever.

i have a feeling nintendo is getting hammered with people getting home from work. anyone else having trouble right now?

I updated mine this morning around 10:30 AM MST. It only took about 30 seconds to get (the quickest update yet).

im back. played zelda for a while(and finished it!), and when i got back to updating it worked fine. as i assumed, overload.

Yeah, you weren't the only one. At first I thought it was just my Wi-Fi connector acting screwy, but my friends were having the same issues, and they're from different parts of the US. I think it was simply an overload of everyone trying to connect and update.
