Can they make VC games onlinelike the XBL Arcade? I think it would be cool to play old multiplayer games online. Is this possible for the Wii to do?
Well others have talked about it and I would like the idea of it happening.

It could be done, but then you'd need to modify the games so that you could at the very least go to some sort of pre-game lobby while you wait.

I think he means they would be more worth purchasing... let's be real here--Nintendo is def. overpricing VC games
I agree with happy noodle that they are overpricing on some of the games. I think they could charge the same with the inclusion of lobbys for multiplayer in the games. Lets face it they are charging the cost it would take to go to a store and buy these carts for the original machine. I'm not complaining I already have 5 of them and looking forward to the possibility of the free ones.
All they do is take you to a lobby and then emulate player 2 over IP

So we all agree it's possible. But we should be asking ourselves if Nintendo is willing to do it.
Of course this kind of thing is possible. But the only thing holding it back is Nintendo. I suggest that everyone start mass-emailing Nintendo. XD I'm pretty sure they will listen to their fans, it's us that got them back on top! If enough people think about this and start talking about it, sooner or later they might do it. So everyone, spread the word!

your probably right 
it makes sense for nintendo to do this, imagine how many VC copies of Goldeneye they could sell if it had an online option. that would probably sell a butt load of Wiis too.
Imagine it...Goldeneye online...Lets see XBOX Live Marketplace compete with that!!
That is if they can pry Goldeneye away from Rare and Microsoft.
