i fear that will be the result. i'm glad SquareEnix is giving Nintendo games, but i'm tired of them giving the big N spin offs and weaker games like Crystal Chronicles. FF:CC wasn't really such a bad game, but severly lacked the depth of the FF "series". then they put the KH side story on the GBA, but gave it some freaked out game mechanic, and the story told on the GBA wasn't really necessary to the players. seems Dragon Quest VIII or IX on the DS is the only real thing SE's giving Nintendo
It is true. I don't think Square fully trusts Nintendo's popularity yet. I mean, they no doubt like having their games on popular consoles (ie. PSone, PS2) and thought the PS3 would be similar. But right now they might be rethinking that.
but they're already making games for the PS3, especially FFXIII and more FFVII compilations. i thought KH3 was already in the making as well. if FFXIII is gonna jump platform they have to decide exactly was system to put it on. as far back as FF games go, they always release in 3s on a console. FFI, II, III = NES. FF IV, V, VI = SNES. FF VII, VIII, IX = PS. FF X, XI, XII = PS2. aside from the ports of FFXI to PC and XBox, every next 3 FF games appear on just one system. creepy huh?
They also had X-2 on PS2.
The KH team is working on KH2: Final Mix and then has to work on Versus XIII with the Advent Children team.
What kind of Spinoff for KH3 could the wii get?
Who knows, tell another story? We don't even know what KH3 is about yet.
well from what the secret ending in KH2 suggests, it could partly be about how the original keyblade (kingdom key) came to existence. though i havent watched that ending in a while.

well i hope the wii gets the real thing and not just a spin-off, cuz i dont think it would be as good. the only problem i see the wii version having (if they do it) would be its controls, if they do it like zelda it would be tough because soras movements with a keyblade are way more complex than links simple side to side and up and down motions.
Not always, just swing randomly. Of course it'd be much more annoying that Zelda because of the amount of button mashing that KH involves.
thats what i mean, it would be a bit crazy for the wii. but hell i hope it gets on the wii, cuz there really isnt much chance of me buying a ps3....well not yet....
I own the 1st kingdom hearts and even though I didn't care much for it, I know it was a smash hit...and with the content I guess that's rightfully so. When Kingdom Hearts 2 came out, there much fan-fair for it, but I haven't heard near the buzz. I can go to my local Walmart and already buy it at a greatly discounted price. I just wonder if the next one will be able to compete with the 1st one's success.
I saw the secret ending again, and yea I think they confirmed that it will be about The Origin of the keyblade, and KH Final Mix Will have extra secret ending-ness.
i could try to find the forum i used to be on that had a huge explanation about it. it might have been a bit far fetched, but it explained some stuff nicely. i'll try and find it.
what exactly is Final Mix going to be? i've heard about it many a time, but dont know much about it.
Final Mix is just a remake of the game just with more things Extra bosses minigames and side Quests and DONT FORGET WEAPONS.

bunch of ps3 fan boys, if i wasnt decent, id go there and talk trash about the ps3, ps2 and psp. just to piss em off, and say how awsome the wii is. but id rather not....
