That's bull****. Then why am I not able to just walk into a local Best Buy or Wal Mart, ask for, and get a PS3? The PS3 is just as hard to find as the Wii right now. And I'll bet that if Sony had shipped as many PS3s as Nintendo has Wiis, they'd all be gone as well.
I would have to dissagree, everywhere i look i see a PS3, They are stacked against the 360 like pyramids.
It's started happening to me too. I've had the opportunity to buy a PS3 about 10 different times if I wanted to, yet I'm having a terrible time finding a Wii.
well this whole statement needs to be re-stated...20gb ps3's no1 wants...and are stocked everywhere i look...and 60gb ps3's are nowhere to be found in some places.

Yeah i went out to two stores today just browsing shopping with my fiancee. At one target they had one 20gb, and walmart had at least 3 60 gb. No wiis to be found though.
Funny cuz one guy at walmart was looking for a game for the psp, and the guy in the electronics dep't thought he was looking for a ps3. He was like, no I don't want one. It almost sounded like they were trying to get rid of em. pretty comical.

ps3 sales will pick up once some more exclusives titles hit the selves. And i believe this title in general is talking about the rediculous nearly 1k bundle packages going around. But i can definitly see y people are waiting to purchase the ps3. Spending 600 for 1 game atm just isnt worth it. Once final fantasy comes out im sure they'll be sellin like crack in southside chicago.

Almost as comical as the PS3 launch... but not quite.
PS3s sell so fast in my area, cause NJ is so densely populated. Still, there are Wii bundles available, not as much, because they are cheaper. But still, 90% of PS3s shiped are sold the day they come in.
I'd be interested to know the percentage of them that are either taken back to the stores or shipped back to Sony to be worked on.
I went into Wal-Mart a few days ago trying to find a wii and they had 6 PS3 60 GB.But no wii's

if sony wants to get them selves out of the hole they dug they need to launch a popular title or ditch the blu-ray and cut the cost
Same situation in Toronto - the PS3 is sitting on shelves. I went into my local EB, BestBuy, Futureshop, and WalMart and could not find a Wii anywhere but found a PS3 in every location. I asked at the EB and was told that they were getting 12 PS3 in with every shipment and 12 Wiis. There would eb a line-up the morning of the shipment for the Wii's - still, and the PS3's they might sell one a day. They've had to cancel some of their PS3 shipments recently so that they would not be overstocked.

If Sony cut the price of their system in half you'de be stupid not to buy one just on the merit of a Blu-ray disk player for $300! I would buy one immediately.
Much like O'Shawneasey, I'm seeing a lot of PS3s sitting on shelves.
I was at two different Target stores in the Houston area this weekend looking for nunchuks and classic controllers and saw 2 PS3s at one store, and 4 at another. That's more than the grand total of Wii remotes / nunchuks / classic controllers we saw. Was *thisclose* to getting one, but the price tag still scares me away.
I saw 11 Ps3 today But no wii BOOO.
