You read it right. NotifyWire, an online sales tracking firm, is claiming that there are simply too many PS3s on the market now that the fervor for Sony's behemoth has died down somewhat.

Dume: Your sexy linkage isn't working for me. I'm getting a 500 Server Error. Sad
huh...the page was working for me.....what happend?
Well, hopefully after Christmas, they'll cut the price in half.
Page is working for me.
Try right-clicking and open link in new window.
Oh now it works! Smile
Even if they cut the price in half.. their current launch titles are dissapointing.(Except for that FPS)
a 500 error is usually caused by too much traffic

Not sure if I agree with your quote. It seems a bit misleading. The article says that due to the high price of the PS3 and online retailers bundling it with software, people are turned off to buying it...

Once again, Sony causes confusion. If there really is too many PS3's it's probably from their outrageous price tag.
wow, Sony's digging their own grave, and that bloody thing's getting to be really deep...
i am happy to see sony going down. poor ps3 fans
That's bull****. Then why am I not able to just walk into a local Best Buy or Wal Mart, ask for, and get a PS3? The PS3 is just as hard to find as the Wii right now. And I'll bet that if Sony had shipped as many PS3s as Nintendo has Wiis, they'd all be gone as well.
Actually Kindrik, you are wrong, as far as I know. That may be for your area only, though. From many stories saying that they go looking for Wii-related items, they find PS3's just sitting there. Yup, no lines. I went to buy a Wii points card last Sunday (not yesterday, but before), as I was coming in 2 hours after opening, somebody was walking out with one, and out of curiosity I went to the aisle and found 1 more. So again, this may be just for your area, but very untrue elsewhere.
This title misleads. I want one lol but can't get one yet.

Anyway, Sony is just having a shaky start. The PS2 probably had the same sort of entrance.

^Remember that^
Well I'm starting to believe it. My friend (ironically) walked into Best Buy and found 3 PS3s just sitting on the shelves. Then his cousin said he went into (that's right) Wal-Mart and found a couple PS3s that the employees said had been there for a few days while the Wii section was stripped down to the bone.

The irony is so thick you'd need to cut with a heavy duty industrial blade.

This is wierd, or maybebe not so. There was obviously huge hype that helped sell out the first wave of PS3's, and the second wave, but after that it slowed, and eventually to a near-sudden halt. After word got out about dissapointing gameplay and graphics, and the outrageuos price to boot, people are just deciding it isn't worth it. I could care less, but believe me things will only get better.
Disapointing graphics....?
I mean that in the best possible way. Seriously. It's just alot of the games look on par/worse (not extremely, but not as good) with the 360. The graphics just aren't (did I spell that right?) mind blowing.
