speaking of SF I got to play the orignal on psp and man it was still hard to pull off the special moves! Adon was harder than Sagat! So yeah SF2 FTW! lol
I personally am really excited for Super Castlevania IV, I never got to play it before and I hear it is a really good one. The others I have played already many a time (Except Toe Jam & Earl...I want that one too

Castlevanias are always good IMO I only hate the jumping in that game!

it's a cool thing for christmas, but if this is their big surprise that retro gamers have been wanting for a decade, I'm not very impressed... I figured most of those games would make it on, anyway...
but, on the brighter side, they're still great games! def. gonna get SMB, SF2, and Castlevania.
Yeah, I'm with you HNB. If this is the "surprise gift" then I am truley dumbfounded. Never had a gift I had to pay for. No doubt I'll get SMB as soon as I get some points but I hope this is not "THE" surprise.

To be honest I do not know, and I haven't read any links between these two things. I also hope that this is not the case, because to me these are just some more standard releases (yes, good games) but still just standard VC releases.
I'm getting SMB, SF II and R-Type!

and I'm not verry impressed. Isn't nintendo supposed to be adding new games to the VC every monday anyway? This whole christmas supprise is turning out to be just like a regular Monday but with good games.

we shouldn't be impressed because they're doing what they'd said they would do, but with games that we actually WANT. we should be somewhat upset that the current list of VC games is so lacking, if anything.
If anyone honestly thought Nintendo would give out their big guns so early in the VC's life you're dreaming.
We won't see any giant names in VC gaming until a drought hits, so I'd say late Jan-Feb we should expect a few bigger names.
this isn't the big thing for VC, its one of the updates they do every Monday. Christmas just fell on a Monday. So people are calling it a 'Christmas present.'
