Will MP3: Corruption be the end to Metroid Prime? Or Not?

It'll be the end of Metroid Prime but not Metroid.
I knew that it wouldn't be the end of Metroid.
I hope they make like a new side-scroller for DS sometime.

Side-scroller Metroid games are awesome.
Side-Scroller Metroid games were the best Metroid games, though the new ones are cool too. I grew up playing Super Metroid on my brother's SNES.
Super Metroid is incredible.

I hope MP3 stays truer to MP than Echoes, as I loathed the whole light/dark interaction. Also, I'd like to see the new weapons actually be new looking, not just rehashed versions from MP (light gun = plasma cannon). And damn it, bring back Kraid allready!
Super Metroid is my favorite all time game. I <3 Super Metroid. Hopefully they release a DS 2-d Metroid that can bring back the greatness and feel of Super Metroid, as well as more Kraid!
