I have stated in a few places why SSBB isn't the bright light of 07. Unless they can incorporate some sort of amazingly awesome single player mode...........
But THIS game promises typical AMAZING Metroid single-player, with rumours of online multiplayer on top of it.

Wow. I've never played a Metroid game before, I'm hoping for alot whenever I purchase this game.
I'll give MP one last dance, and that's it. Hunters for DS was good, but prime 1 and 2 were not. I'll see how it compare to Gears of War.

Metroid Prime 1 destroyed every single game that came out on the Gamecube and if you didn't like it then you may as well not even bother with Corruption.

I had this game but I think I traded it in to EB (curse you EB for fooling me into thinking I was doing something smart). I didn't like it for some reason but then later realised the mistake I made. I'm going to go out and try to find that and Super Mario Sunshine which I also gave away after completeing.

I plan on giving it a second chance. (Did play these games a while ago). However, it's just a game I didn't prefer. (Bashing people based on preference is a really mature way to discuss a topic, isn't it). As an open minded individual, I'm looking forward to MP3, and will give it another go. All I know is that GoW on 360 is amazing, and there's no game to match it right now, I'm hoping MP3 does that.
There are plenty of games to match it... you just have to be willing to understand how they match it. I'm not saying Gears isn't a great game, because it is... but its not the be all end all of gaming at the moment.

I was the same way. I traded in Prime after I got it but then loved the series after trying Echoes, eventhough the first one was better IMO.
