do you have to use the wavebird dongle that plugs into the gamecube or is the support internal in the wii? if you have to use the little dongle, how well do they plug in? because under the flap looks flat, and the front of the gamecube is curved

You have to use the dongle but it works perfectly fine. It isn't hard to plug in or anything!

And any other signals (bluetooth for remote or Wi-Fi for internet) won't interfere. But I've heard that bluetooth and Wi-Fi don't play well together.
