Do they upscale the Gamecube games to 480p or just the Wii titles?
AFAIK, they will play the "Progressive Scan Compatible" gamecube games at 480p, and play the ones that aren't at 480i. Gamecube did have 480p capabilities, but not all games used it.

It should say on the back of the GC games' box if it's PS compatible or not.

not all of them do, though... I never got component cables for my GameCube, but I've got them for my Wii and I discovered that a LOT of games that don't say anything actually DO run in 480p! a nice little surprise!
oh, and I don't know about any other games, but I've found that with Lost Kingdoms, you've got to set your Wii to 480i before playing it, otherwise some of the colors reverse and it runs at about half speed... not frame rate drop, but literally in slow-mo... kinda weird

I've found that almost %80 of titles for the Cube can run in 480P or at least the games that most people want to play.

If they don't say that they support progressive scan they will still run with the component cables, but they'll display in 480i. At least I think.

nope, good sir, many that say nothing run in 480p--you know because at the beginning of the game it asks if you want to run the game in progressive scan mode

I see, I see. 'Tis quite a strange predicament. Quite strange indeed.
