My friends site pretty cool
WHO LIKES ZELDA?
ISN'T IT AN AWESOME SET OF GAMES?
I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess.
thanks, that's my site. could you sign the guestbook?
hey i took a wallpaper its the last one with TP Link by the ocean
i downloaded the last wallpaper with Majora's mask
i'm glad you guys are enjoying it. that took a long time to make.
There is no mention of the CD-i or BS games.
i have a limited acount and was going to get a premium one, but i'm saving my money for a Wii.
I wouldnt call the CD-i games "real" - phillips was just allowed to use the characters werent they?
yeah i know. pff. Any game with Zelda as aplayable character(exluding ssb) sucks. it just doesn't work out. plus the gems looked kindof stupid for the cover.
They actually have in game videos of the two Zelda games at IGN. Wand of Gameleon looks like it might (definately stress the meaning) be alright (minus the FMVs), but Zelda's Adventure looks like I'd freak out at the load times alone.
Hey, Darklink, you should associate with zeldaguide.com, it's a good, decent website that has like fanart and fanfiction and stuff. I wrote a story on it, but I had to use my dad's email so it says im clint helton.
This is my story.
Good site. And CD-i Zelda's? What CD-i Zelda's... (my blatant attempt to ignore them fails) Lol they do exist... but the BS Zelda's get higher priority clearly lol.
CD-i was a ridiculously expencive system released very early around the SNES era. The system was the birth of FMVs and crazy long load times. Two games that came out for it were Legend of Zelda: Wand of Gameleon and Legend of Zelda: Zelda's Adventure. Both very very horrible games. The BS system was also released in the SNES era, but only in Japan. This system downloaded info via satellite for it's games. This allowed people to play sort of episodes of their game every week almost like it was a Saturday morning cartoon. There was a remake of Legend of Zelda and Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. In the later game you had a choise between a female Link and a male Link. I think the only difference was one had hair and the other wore a baseball hat.
(edit) BS stood for Broadcast Satellaview and there was another game for CD-i called Link: The Faces of Evil. CD-i was released 1989 and the BS versions were released just before OoT. I would also like to note that there was a game not released called Mystical Seed of Courage which was supposed to be the third installment in the Oracle series.
interesting. do you know how expensive was the CD-i? more than PS3?
It was initially priced at $700 USD. It's around the same price as the PS3 I guess.
(edit) I forgot to take in inflation, so it probably would have released at 900-1000 today. (/edit)
IDK means?.... Nothing could cost more than the PS3
Well, considering inflation, this did.
