i mean i cant see anything wrong with that setup i think it would be cool
GCN control <3
That control set up sounds complicated. I'd rather use the GCN controller...
I'll be playing with the GC controller too but I don't see anything wrong if they give other options to use the Wiimote. Might help it sell even more too for those people who insists that Wii games must use the Wiimote for every game. Look at SSG. You have the option to use it like a Wiimote or like a basic joypad. I think they'll have some kind of option in there like this.
more and more arcade type games have options on the control settings. DBZ:BT2 lets you play with the GC controller or wii-mote, and Metal Slug Anthology allows for a LOT of different play mechanics. if you hold the wii-mote horizontally, you have 2 buttons for jump and attack on the right, D-pad for moving, A-button for shield (then tilt to roll) and B-button to grab/throw items
meh:

GC controller FTW!
I really want to play it on the Classic controller sense i bought one and haven't really used it. I think it would make a lot of sense to because of all the extra buttons for other possible moves.
but then people playing with the GC or wii-mote/nunchuk setup wouldn't be able to use those extra moves

but what extra buttons are you talking about? there are 4 face buttons, 2 or 3 shoulder, - and + for start and select, d-pad and 2 joysticks. no more buttons than the GC controller
i think the classic controller has a second z button (on the left side where the z button is located)
the classic controller has 4 shoulder buttons, 4 face buttons a d-pad and 2 anolog sticks.

I hope it uses the wii-mote or atleast the CC.
i don't see a problem playing brawl with the wii remote i think it will be 1000 times cooler then playing with the boring old outdated did i forget to say boring gamecube controller
If Wiimote control is implemented we need an option. Just in case it gets screwed up I want to be able to use my Cube control.

I mean look at the DBZ:BT2 controls on the Wiimote. People say they are fun, but it makes nailing some moves 100% a little bit hard. I do not want this to happen to Smash.

Would I be able to wavedash/L-cancel on the Wiimote?
yeah....i think using the controllers from the gamecube will be rad. but then what if someone were to yank on the controller? that would send my precious wii flying to the ground.... how sad
Just have to tell people to be careful, or pray that they offer Classic Controller compatibility as well.

Then get a Wavebird, they are an awesome control. Maybe at the very least we can use Classic Control.

Classic controller would definitely be awesome, if that were available as a control option. I mean, functionality-wise it's just like a GC controller, but just a different layout. In fact, I'd rather use the classic controller on GC games and then GC controller, but that's just me.

I think the best move would be to put in a bunch of different control styles. It makes sense. That way, all this wondering and fighting over which one is better would just stop. I still think GC is the way to go, but still, it might be cool to have a Wii-mote layout too.
im hoping for the use of the classic controller as well. pretty much all my GC controllers have a stuck button or wandering control stick from all the smash we've done. especially that the tiny B button.

meh, i have to re-write this (one of my GC controller is screwed up Sad)

CC controller FTW!

They should use the classic controller. it would be to complicated to use the wiimote.
GC controller is better then classic.

Plus more people have four GC controllers then four classic controllers.
