hey has any1 has had any trouble getting to the shop channel to download the new vc games :o
i guess since every1 is trying to get mario :o the wii shop is just getting hit hard by every1 accessing it ...
Grabbed Super Mario and Sim City this morning about 7am MST with no issues at all.
I just got a message about it being down for maintainence.
i got on at about 11 this morning (PST) had 1 error code, but then it worked after that, which isnt anything that hasnt happened before. but i didnt get to buy anything... need to pick up another wii points card...
I got in without any problems. (Don't have the card here yet so basically just looking and wishing)
you guys DO know that you can use credit cards, right? cheaper that way too--no sales tax
I can't use a credit card because my credit card has a Thai address and my Wii registration has a U.S. address. There is a conflict and my bank want approve it plus when trying something like this before they say that the address on the card must match the address of the product location. SSLT.

i was able to use the shop channel fine this morning. Got Castlevania 4, Ice Hocky, Toejam and earl, and ecco. hurray

Wrong. I was at FPS Nate's and as a Christmas present I got him 2000 Wii Points with a credit card (I was too lazy to go out and buy a card ) and got charged $1.20 in taxes. The shop channel worked fine when I bought the points and when we downloaded SM64.
