so, after the aunts' and uncles' houses, the amount of money(inc. gift card and gift certificate) comes to a total of 270 us dollars-almost the EXACT amount after tax on the wii. i already had about 30 in my wallet, so tomorrow, i will be going to a big mall early in the day to see if the best buy has a wii left for me. let's see how many people can post here saying i won't get one!( i don't think i'll find any left!) :)

My mother found a 60 gig PS3 on the Eve before Christmas Eve and if Im not mistaken they are harder to come by than a wii...have fun!

j/k man. I've been trying for a week with no luck. Every time I hear consoles are coming, nothing comes or I wind up being 5th in line with 4 Wiis or something. When they do come in, the news just seems to pass me by. I heard again that Best Buy's getting Wiis here on Friday. 3rd time's a charm.

Yeah, good luck to you. It could happen. I remember when I was blinded by the look of the PSP and had to get one. I called about 10 stores and no one had it. Finally I called Kay-B Toys (yeah, I know...) and the lady said we have only one left. I asked her was it the special promtion package. She said no, it only comes with Spiderman and some Demo Disc. She didn't know that was what I was asking and I asked her to hold it for me and she did. I drove like a maniac and got it. When my cousins saw it they were shocked and said I thought it was sold out. I said it is...now. Hope you have good luck like this too!

Anyways, that's where I hope to get one. It opens at 10, I'm getting there at around 8, so I'm hoping for the best. Since it's after Christmas, I hope that it isn't that bad.
Nope. I'm Canadian. I've a couple weeks off school now so I'll try spending more time Wii searching.
I see, best of luck to you. It's my week off as well, so that's why I can go to Best Buy early. My dad is going to a GameStop as well, to increase my chances, which is surprising, because he would usually laugh at this idea. I'm geussing this is only because of my reaction to the "I owe you one Wii" note.
dude, i think this is HILARIOUS! LOL, not to laugh at your pain of not having a wii, BUT, before launch day there were 2 groups of people, those saying it was stupid to preorder and that there were gonna be Wii's sitting on the shelves 12 hours after launch. and then there was a much smaller group (the one i was in) saying "hey losers you didnt preorder and your gonna regret it, cause the wii is gonna sell out like mad and you dont know it yet!!!(takes big breath afer long sentence)" now i get to hear all the people saying preorders were lame be like, oh i should have preordered... lol, sorry guys, it just makes me happy!
