Ok I got the Router hooked up with the USB Connector, its made by Trendnet and is: 54Mbps 802.11g
the Signals say excelent, I try to go online and it never works! Help! I need to know my WEP too

go into your control panel for your router. You should have some instructions on how to do that. You can try typing 192.168.0.1 in your address bar. you probably have to enable your wireless network first

you'll be able to enable your WEP there as well. It would be a good idea to change your login to something other than admin, password as well
are you hard wired to your router by a comp?
Umm..Hard WIred? It has wires in the back going into the comp.
oh wait you said the signal is excellent: meaning your wireless ability is already on. Are you having trouble getting on with the wii or just in general?

No, I dont have any Devices only the USB Connector that came with it.

No It says go online even though its not Secure, what does that mean? How do I make it Secure?

have you selected yes? It should let you connect after that. To make your wirelss internet secure you need to get into your routers menu via your browser: a possible way is by typing in 192.168.0.1 in your address bar. Otherwise you need to go to the routers website and search under support for the steps you need to follow

not sure about this: is "Connection 1" the name of your network? Also, make sure your wii is in range of the router
No Connection 1 is just on the wii choosing which one you want to go to nothing really having to do with anything.

lol its hard to do this via typing. So you have 2 probs. your wii wont connect and 2 your network is not secure
