so, my router, although it is an awesome one with two antennas, is at the opposite end of the house from the living room, where the wii is. one update froze, and i thought the wii died,so right now, it is in the downstairs office. does anyone know how i should position the antennas, or what part of the office room i should move the router? or can i cob-job some set-up that will boost the range?
ok well, what you should do is make sure that the antennas are at a 45 degree angle to get the best signal streangth. if that still isnt far enough then at best buy or any other place they sell i WiFi booster, you plug it in to a wall socket between the wii and the router, should boost your signal enough to get to the wii.
nice. how much do these things cost?
forget that, i have no money. is there any other way to use a metal stick or something to boost signal?
I'm kind of hoping my router doesn't reach. Then I have excuse for getting the computer and everything that goes along with it moved to my room.

Then again, I'll just say it won't reach even if it will. XD
I saw them at BBY, they where on sale for 20 dollars, they look like a flash drive basicly.
