can you lateral the ball?
I have the 360 version and can't. I don't have a Wii though. You can't do it in any other madden game, it would get abused so easily it wouldn't be football anymore.
i thought that was just a NCAA feature usually.

As far back as 2001 you've never been able to latteral, a feature I've wanted to use a few times.
And I don't think and of the pre-2001 games had it, though I've never played them.

They should allow laterals. Sure people would be using them a lot more than in real football but no one really plays Madden games like real football. People tend to throw the ball more than 80% of the time even when having the best running back. Laterals would make it seem like you were more in control and if you abused them remember how easy it would be to fumble and end up losing the ball.
