I just love reading debates from of which is the best etc......

but the truth is the system that makes you happy when you play it at the moment. For each system will always have its strengths and fan favorites but its the system that pushes developers as well as the fans to demand more and better concepts from the companies. But of the 3 next gen systems whoo whould i say imo.....the xbox 360


why? its over 1 year ahead of the competition, developers have a great idea of what they can do with the hardware and the online service is no comparision.

now what of wii
great family unit, lil tommie to granma suzie can be included to participate in games and enjoy, controller is innovative and options that control sound and rumble are unmatched. Needs a recharge unit cause batteries die too quick, are lack of the next gen graphics,online gaming or games with too much motion control gonna kill the system?

One of the best designed controllers, semi innovative controller, top of the line hareware and new"cell" tech.97% backward compatible to ps1 n ps2games. Need rumble in controller(why take a step back u paid innovative 91 mill so far just keep cashing)Blu ray etc 1080 p gaming only good if u have a 1080p tv most dont own one.What the use of a 600 dollar machiene that plays the same games as a 360 ,wii, etc its obvious they werent ready to release the system but why did they when all the half decent titles come out in march?Controllers have a built in recharge battery so if it burn u need to buy a new one or send it back to sony(thanks sony rip more $$ from the consumer)


now i cant totally rip the new wii and ps3 for they are only in their 1st stages of development and it usually takes a year to 2 to reach its true potential of a system. but i am gratefully that nin made the wii nondvd compatable so they just concentrate on gaming where sony and xbox fight the media platform. Who give 2 craps about hd-blu ray movies when the menus for the systems are gaming menus and dont offer a user friendly setup or decent display menus. And quit with the complete home entertainment unit sales pitch.... I WANT GAMES.
A variety, not just FPS, of multiplatform blotches. Quit ur bickering on which will win because in the end the more innovative and inspiration a game etc is we all win in the end.......

Its all about the games, that is honestly what sells a system in the end. And the games the system has puts forward an image that the system will take on.

And all three systems win, and anyone who says one will fail is in fact the person who will phail by epic proportions.

I think the X360 is the best hardcore (vs PS3), and may out do the Wii. My personal favorite is the Wii.

Keeping in mind the games we're seeing on the XB360 recently are from a year into the XB360 hardware experience, whilst the PS3 games are not.

its true they are all good systems i just have wii because thats the one i was able to afford i would be happy with any one of the 3. and yes i cant stand the people that just go with one system and say others are crap and that one is the best just because they like it. i mean ok you like it, so buy the one you like and play it and shut up about which is better.

but if i did have to pick one i do like the 360 because of the xbox live

also xbox 360 rpg series have been lacking for quite some time as well as othe variety of games only recently have 3rd party companies started to program for MS(specially the japanese co.)

also not forall the great companies look at the disasters on systems

some of the systems above also imo hade some of the greatest games made but still didnt have the staying power

remember the nes/ sega master system battle, actually the master system was more powerful than the nes but who won that battle?

Comparing consoles is so stupid. I have a 360 and am trying to get a Wii. But seriously though, hardly any other industries do this. You don't ask car people to compare between a Honda and a Viper? Both do basically the same things, the people who can afford the Viper are going to be happy with their purchase but the people who just go for the Honda also enjoy their car especially when comparing the price.

There will always be comparisons.

And in some respects its good, I mean we wouldn't get far if all the companies were as one.

XBox360 has the best online period, Nintendo Wii has the best control scheme when it comes to innovation and getting everyone involved, PS3 doesn't have now but give them time will have better graphics than XBox360. If they were all together then it would be the perfect system. Until then you buy the one you enjoy the most or if you're lucky enough to have a lot of money you can buy all 3 and play each for their strengths.

Console Communism?

There is no best or worst. People like doing this because its all a marketing scheme and its all business. Bottom line is if you want to play all the games buy all 3 systems, simple as that. I can only afford one and I bought the Wii cuz i want to play Nintendo franchises. I will buy the Wii just for Zelda straight up.

If Nintendo can give me a few resident evils and sports game to satify my appetite than i'll be very happy with just the Wii. And i have faith that nintendo will get there online network going and implementing them in there games cause microsoft is just in a tear right now.
